NEW SANTA CRUZ 5010 MTB - No Need for a 29er

Спорт

It's official. All Santa Cruz trail and enduro mountain bikes now look the same, and it's impossible to tell them apart. The last hold out, the playful, 27.5-inch-wheeled 5010, finally gets the lower link VPP treatment. We compare the old 5010 v3 to the new 5010 v4 to see the differences, similarities, and on-trail performance this small-wheeled ripper.
2021 Santa Cruz 5010 v4 Highlights
- 130mm rear travel, 140mm front travel
- Size-specific chainstay lengths
- Larger shock tunnel compatible with 210x50mm shocks, including coil shocks.
- Six build kit options from $4,0999 to 8,099 USD.

With the exception of the new pivot points, the changes aren't frame specific. I'm going to upgrade my V3 fork to a Lyric or 36 and my rear to a RS Super Deluxe, which should make it not only bike park capable but able to take on bigger hits out on local trails.
