i just finished installing my Q6Oon my SAMSUNG 55-Inch Class QLED 4K... i would have never known about all the sound settings. thanks and you weren’t lying about the explosive sound it puts out. i tested it with Top Gun Maverick and Ghostbuster: Afterlife. i actually have to set the subwoofer on the 2nd to the lowest level since i live in a 2nd floor apartment and its booming 😮😂

Honestly, I have never heard or heard of Blaster X so I can't say. I did look it up but there are lots of different models however from what I see they don't support Dolby atmos and it doesn't look like they support rear speakers? But regardless If it was me I would pick Samsung

i just ordered a s90 and the q60..... how are the speakers in the oled? does the symphony stuff make a difference or is it more a gimmick??

But not a gimmick and when you go up the scale a bit it's an amazing addition. Thank you so much for your in-depth review! You answered my doubts I had about wi-fi capability. I was trying to connect this q60c soundbar to Smart Things but could not figure out why, but now I do thanks to your comment at 28:45 minutes into your video. I don't know why Samsung couldn't just include this like their other soundbars (or at least the q990c has it).

Samsung did do a great job of offering a sound bar by each 100 to 200 dollar increases to add or remove specs. I would always prefer the starting price would drop off so that example this bar would have connection. But here's to hope I guess lol. But the truth is I always forget many people hate connected experiences also. So I guess it's probably hard to please us all. So they have to come up with the cut offs based off something we will probably never know lol. But anyway I'm just ranting on. I just hooked one up to my new Samsung Q80C and it sounded fantastic at no more than 50% volume. The Interstellar 4K bluray was fitting to break it in with. 😊

Great review. I just hooked my bar up today. When I click the tone control button & try to adjust the treble & bass it says not available. I have tried different settings but its the same. I have it hooked to a samsung Q 80c tv. Any ideas or is it a defected bar?

You get the rears included so you get more and it would overall have more features. Awesome review, thanks so much. I got one question that perhaps you can answer. I'm debating the Q60C v.s. the Q750C. I'm just wondering if I start with the Q60C now and decide to add a rear speaker kit later (SWA-9200S) will I in the end have the same sound quality as the more expensive Q750C? Or should I just pony up and go with the Q750C right away? If it matters I"d be hooking it up to a Samsung CU7000 with Q-Symphony. Thank you again for the review and any advice you can give me.

You get two upfiring speakers along with all the benefits of wifi connection chromcast built-in ect. Really what you need to ask yourself is what features are most important. And then base it off the cost savings. I'm kinda weird as I usually think I'm either going for great sound at a budget and all I care about is the basics or I go to the top end. Everything seems to be working fine, only thing is when I go to tone control and try to adjust treble or bass it says not available when I try to hit up or down on the remote.

Hi Mate, It turns out that this a feature. If select the sound source to be your TV + Soundbar (qSymphony), you will not be able to change anything other than the bass. Just on Soundbar, you can change all treble and bass.

Great review! I went ahead and bought this after watching your review. I picked it up today and twice no sound would come out. It's as if the tv would not recognize it. I noticed that i didn't have all the options for Sound Mode and then they would appear after a while. My TV is a Samsung and compatible but for some reason this is not working correctly. Any advice/help? My TV is the 86" model UN86TU9010FXZA.

Hello, I have this sound bar together with the Q80BAT TV and when I put on Q-Symphony (TV+SoundBar eARC), the TV and sound bar play but after 2 seconds the TV stops playing and only plays through the sound bar. I'm angry about this because the TV speakers (2.2.2) 60W sound very good, so if they sounded together with the sound bar it would be a very good combination. Is it like that or is something wrong? By the way, I'm looking into changing the Q60C sound bar for the Q600C, is it worth it? There is a difference of €90.

Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 💯 I'm Not Familiar with the Q80BAT model but if it has QSymphony ability you would just need the connection via HDMI not optical or Bluetooth. The HDMI must be in the earc port from TV to bar. HDMI input plus needs to be turned on and audio settings set. At that point it should work without issue. The next step up adds more connection methods like SmartThings and Wi-Fi. Hey. Great video. I have samsung s90c and when i plug earc hdmi my dolby atmos setting greys out. I can turn it on with tv only but connecting soundbar removes it. Then when i use qSymphony and try to connect both soundbar and tv speakers the sound from tv is dissorted and weak. Any ideas?

Thank you for watching and subscribing. I appreciate your support 💯. Make sure your HDMI cable supports eARC, and it's in the eARC port from the TV to the soundbar, not the regular HDMI ports. In the TV settings, turn eARC on, set Atmos to auto, and make sure HDMI Input Plus is turned on for all your HDMI ports in the TV settings. Now, you must watch something that actually outputs Dolby Atmos. Once that happens, the soundbar display itself will say "Atmos" on the screen in the first few seconds of the movie. If you watch starting at 12:30 onward, I cover remote settings in detail. 😉 I do not recommend changing master frequency settings unless you have the correct equipment and knowledge of calibration. Even then, with this Bar specifically, I still don't even think it would be worth the hassle.

This is something that I do not recommend you mess with unless you have the equipment and knowledge to properly adjust it. Unfortunately, this is not something I can simply write to you about, or I would gladly help. Here is some helpful information. The rear speakers are an absolute must in my opinion . The system itself is wireless only every thing connects to the bar wirlesse then each speaker plugs in the wall for power. Easy setup and will sound great. They came with everything you need and will really make your system shine.

@@JbTechFanatic You see this is where the confusion starts as from the link to the speakers you gave me shows a set of speakers that have a wire between both speakers and a single power cord into the mains for power from left speaker and its says no cables are supplied which to me isnt good.

@@JbTechFanatic Hi im getting random sound drop outs with the q600c soundbar now it happpens around an hour and a half into a film where the soundbar wpanel will show the dolby atmos logo scroll across the bar screen and the film kes a slight skip!!! is this normal im connected with earc and alll wires are secure.

I got the q910c for my 75" qn900a tv and it sounds great however im having a major issue every couple of days it stops reading the earc and goes to wifi and I have to unplug it everything to then get it to connect back to earc it's such a pain and can't figure out why and it seems this is maybe common issue idk but for a grand i shouldn't have issues so disappointing since I'm a Samsung fan

Thank you for watching and subscribing. I'm thankful for your support. 💯 That is definitely not a normal thing to happen, and I'm sorry you are having this issue. I recommend that you do a factory reset to your bar and redo the setup. I would also replace the HDMI eARC cable. Once completed, make sure your TV settings are set to eARC. When you see Wi-Fi pop up on the front of your bar, that doesn't necessarily mean that Wi-Fi is connecting as your source. It could mean that the Wi-Fi signal dropped and reconnected. That shouldn't cause the cutout. What often causes the cutout in sound is using the AI assistant, whether it be Alexa or Bixby. The moment it's triggered, it cuts the sound out as it's listening. The problem is that it gets triggered by something on the TV and mistakes you for the TV. What do you set the top level at and centre level at…in CH level ?

I think music sounds richer in Bluetooth than eArc, but movies sound amazing thru HDMI. I have a q600b and think q symphony would be better utilised with upfiring TV speakers for Atmos effects, as I find it puts some content out of sync as a TV+ soundbar option. For anyone with both Samsung TV and bar, if you have a DTS soundtrack that is showing as stereo pcm , go into sound options for digital audio output, and select pass thru, which only appears when the content is playing. Then the sound will change to multi pcm, which is dts 🙃

the hdmi arc cable is a normal hdmi cable right?

Got new TV, 65Q60C and Soundbar Q60C, wasn't getting Q symphony, so Service Tech came and replaced mother board, then had to come back caused the option disappeared. Got it working again, but found out as soon as he left and we plugged in Chromecast it disappeared again. Using HDMI eARC set up. Any ideas?

Press menu them home settings then all settings then sound then sound mode first click sound output then you should see hdmi earc sound with surround then uner that should be another than says tv plus sound bar. @@JbTechFanatic Thanks, as soon as I plug in Chromecast, Q symphony disappears, either Sound bar through bluetooth or just tv speaker, but not both.

@georgesaraamonette1TV. OH I see the TV has to be the main sound processing as chrome cast will not support q sympathy. My recommendation is use the smart Hub built-in to the tv.

I’m thinking of getting this for my birthday because it is on sale on Amazon, for 220, would this be good for an lg TV

Since it's not putting out sound unplug the bar and bass from power for a full 10 minutes. Then replug bar first then bass also use remote to turn bass to.max. if still no sound hold down the sync button to try to resync the bass.

How do you update the firmware on the soundbar

Thank you for watching and subscribing I'm thankful for your support 💯 to update the soundbar’s firmware, visit the Samsung Download Center. You can either select your product type and then search for your soundbar, or select ENTER MODEL NUMBER to access the support page for your specific soundbar model. On the Support page, locate the firmware file for your soundbar under DOWNLOADS. If you find multiple firmware versions, install the newest version. Select DOWNLOAD next to the firmware version to download the compressed file. When the file has finished downloading, locate it and then unzip the file. Navigate through the folders until you access the files required for the update. Copy or move the firmware’s files to the root directory of your USB flash drive (make sure the storage capacity is large enough for the files). When you copy or move the files to your USB flash drive, do not place them in a folder. If they are in a folder, the soundbar will not be able to find the firmware. Next, connect a USB flash drive containing the firmware update into a USB port of your soundbar while it’s powered off (usually located in the back). Turn on your soundbar using the remote or the Power button directly on the soundbar and then switch to the USB source using the source button. Note: Your soundbar may not have a USB source. If it doesn't you can skip this step. The update will start and your soundbar’s display will flash “UPDATE” during the process. When the update finishes, the soundbar turns off. Press the Play/Pause button on the remote for 5 seconds. “INIT” will appear on the display and then the soundbar will turn off. This means the update is complete.

Do you know if you can add a second subwoofer to this soundbar?

However I had my 990C in the same room and it automatically connected to that bass module and both work at the same time. The 600 is well worth it, symphony is not much better on an au8000 TV, but with the 9200 rear speakers it will fill a 3m x 4m room with ease. Use Bluetooth for music and eArc for everything else, and Blu-ray players will link by one remote thru soundbar extra hdmi. I got it for £238 and £180 for rears

I got this sound bar it will not connect to my Samsung tv with hdmi the tv does no see device connect no sound but it will connect Bluetooth to tv .

Make sure you use the HDMI arc port or optical connection ports. Then in the TV sound settings switch to out put sound via HDMI or optical to hear output. Then it should work

Is there a power button on subwoofer how do you turn it off?

@@JbTechFanatic I was also looking at the Q700C for extra 100 bucks but it’s pretty much the same with less watts and includes Wi-Fi and Alexa connections not sure if I need all of that
