If it's your first I would recommend getting browns, u can try others after that. Plus it's hotswap so u can just change out the switches in the future! Thx too!

Does pressing Left SHFT + S + A also give you an output of "Sa" (instead of "SA") when the RGB lightings are OFF? Great vid btw :)

@@baofudanny2098 I think its not waaay expensive because you got cherry switch but maybe just a little bit more expensive. I also have the exact one you got. Black version with cherry browns and it was 4000 php(around rm344)

Nice vid! I'm planning on buying also this kb. I was wondering if u ever used it on MacOS? Does all the keys are properly map for MacOS, especially the media keys? And any issues that I should be concerned about? I read a lot of reviews and the dongle seems to be a problem.

So far the newer version dont have any problems with the dongle, but for the mac features i know the basic ones work and RK did say that the media keys work too u just neeed to change it to mac mode

i think i've seen another review on the same keyboard (rk84 non-pro versions) having 5 Bluetooth connections instead of just 3. is there another different model of these keyboard?

I think the older model, also called the RK84 had 3 connections but newer versions have 5, but it's hard to differentiate

Yeah, it depends on what version u get, there's a hotswap and non hotswap version

on rkg68 rk837 model royal kludge keyboard when i alt fn 4 on normal 1234 mode it opens the calculator instead of alt f4 ing. is this normal?

Your keyboard default is to the F (function) keys. Just click the left CTRL + Fn keys together to switch between number and F keys. Hope this helps!

Debating what switch to pick as well. Currently coming from a ducky shine 4 with cherry mx browns. Would mainly use it for typing and occasionaly gaming. If you have a recommendation let me know and thanks in advance! :)

I would reccomend u stick with tactile switches, can try out akko lavender purple or oceon blue. if u have a bigger budget can try glorious pandas or boba

Gateron is way better, but in the Asia market they only offer RK switches and they are not that bad. u can lube them for better sound and feel

can you game with the 2.4Ghz adapter? or do you have to use the wire for better gaming performance?

You can just charge and use it wired, or you can just charged it overnight till full (3 hours) and use it wirelessly

The outer frame on the RK84 V2 is also removable, right? I have seen many other youtube videos showing the first version of RK84 where the outer frame is easily removable for giving user the advantage of using it with a cool look of the keys root exposed.

blue switches if you want a real loud and clicky expirience, brown if u want a more quiet yet engaging expirience

Why does my rgb light is so dim, I have the black version and compared to my old Tecware it isn't bright enough, any workaround? I have put the brightness up to the maximum.

@@itssamueltan Yeah that's true, even with stock it does feel good typing with it, the stabs felt like it has been pre lubed which is good, but still I might change the switches in the future since Red switches is too light for my preferences lol.

I’ve asked RK and they said the latest version only comes with the USBC port and the 2 USB-A ports were removed because “it’s not really useful”. But I asked a few resellers and eventually bought a 3-ports one.

Hi how long do you charge your rk84? I just bought mine and charging it for 15 hours now out of the box and the battery is still only at 90%. I've seen posts on reddit that the rk takes a long time to charge about a day. i'd like to know how you charge it and for how long till fully charged. Thank you!

Hey, it mostly just takes 3 hours and you don't have to fully charge it to use it. Unless you're sure yours has a battery replacement I recommend u claim the warranty

No there is actually. Just press Fn+Enter and it shows you like. If the 1 lights it's mean %10 amd if its 3, 2, and 1 it means %30. And so

I would like to ask what is the updated version of software for this keyboard? If I will not download the software, will I still be able to use all of the feature of this keyboard? Battery life very good, can use for 18 days without charging, daily use 3-4 hours, but with no RGB on, Bluetooth and 2.4ghz also very nice but Bluetooth has latency when gaming, 2.4ghz doesn't have latency

3-pin or 5-pin switches will fit this. 5-pin hotswap can fit both. Only 3-pin only can put 3-pin

That spacebar doesn't sound that hot, my bwkb1 sounded so much better, oh well, its moddable at least, couldn't keep the 60% way too much compromises for me, waiting for my rk84 to arrive

One is 65% one is 80% layout So the RK84 has the function keys F1 to F12
