My son has CMV and I'm sorry I think that this video is off on a few things number one you cannot reverse the hearing loss what happens is the cochlear nerve did not generate and connect so how are you going to make that happen also if there's a brain bleed or what have you there's no reversing that all it is is to set the mother's mind that is to know what's going on but it is what it is it's untradeable

There are clinical trials indicating that Valgancyclovir for the first 6 months after may reduce hearing loss, but it seems to only work for the ears that don't already have profound hearing loss. Some countries have also begun to treat for women who seriously convert while pregnant.
