The new 52 kWh battery that equips the New ZOE extends its range to 395 kilometers in the WLTP* cycle, an increase of +25%, without changing the size of the battery. By adopting rapid DC charging up to 50 kW, the New ZOE offers the most extensive versatility for charging stations available in Europe. The New ZOE recovers up to 150 kilometres of range in 30 minutes.
With the introduction of the R135, a 100 kW engine (equivalent to 135 hp), the New ZOE offers even more acceleration control and responsiveness. Driving pleasure and comfort are enhanced, especially on the motorway, with acceleration from 80 to 120 km/h 2.2 seconds faster than the previous generation.
The New ZOE also offers a new driving mode that simplifies city traffic. Called “B mode”, it provides intensified decelerations allowing a reduced use of the brake pedal.
Finally, the electrical architecture has been entirely redesigned to accommodate several advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
New ZOE is more high-performing than ever, notably thanks to its increased
power and radius of action. Its assertive design gives it even more character.
New ZOE offers a wide range of high-tech equipment serving both the driving
comfort and the on-board experience. The pleasure of driving 100% electric
takes on a new dimension!
With the famous bright C-shape belonging to all new
Renault vehicles, the new 100% LED lights create an
expressive look. Where the dimensions of New ZOE haven’t
changed, it gains in presence. It is confident and wears
its electric nature with pride, the blue border around the
Renault diamond logos acting as a reminder
Groupe Renault’s designers have paid particular attention to the
interior’s quality finishes, its comfort and the ergonomics.
A noteworthy addition to New ZOE is the 10-inch driver’s display -
a unique feature available right from entry level.
The soft, supple material and matte texture of the redesigned
driving panel contribute to the chic and cozy ambiance. Under the
Renault EASY LINK multimedia system screen, the completely
reworked center console incorporates technological innovations
designed by Renault for New ZOE: electronic gear lever,
automatic parking brake, induction charger and more.
This logo features a "holographic"
design, giving a textured effect to the
flat surface. Behind the diamond,
the charging hatch still holds a
type 2 plug, but is now further
improved with a connector for fast
charging DC up to 50 kW, adding to all
the options already offered on
previous generations in alternating
current (AC).
The grill and driving lights also feature
chrome inserts. A ring in the same
style, decorated with the name «ZOE»,
elegantly underlines the ensemble.
Lower down, the LED fog lights
contribute to the overall improved
lighting system. Structured around side
vents specifically designed to improve
the flow of air, the front bumper widens
the overall look of the vehicle.
The front section, well positioned over
the wheels, illustrates ZOE’s dynamic
qualities.
Now 100% LED throughout the
entire range, the headlights feature
the bright C-shape of all new
Renault models.
In addition to giving the car a
bolder look, these new headlights
significantly improve visibility
for the driver.
The taillights are now 100% LED
for improved visibility in all weather
conditions.
The lights shining over the back
of the tailgate also help to widen
the rear of the car. The signature
horizontal beams turn red for even
more visibility. Using dynamic
lighting, the LED turn signals sweep
from the center outwards, making
the car even more visibly imposing.
The turn signal reminders
integrated in the side mirrors also
use LED lighting.
In particular, it is equipped with front
and rear disc brakes, and has new
five-wheel rims. As a consequence,
the wheel range has been completely
revamped. The wheels come in
15, 16 and 17 inches, with different
patterns that add to the overall
modernity of the design.
New ZOE introduces a 10-inch
driver’s display, available right from
entry-level specifications, with
definition and functions that are
unparalleled in the segment.
The display contains the main
driving aids and all settings specific
to electric driving, starting with
the eco-meter that encourages
eco-friendly driving habits.
On versions equipped with
navigation, it also displays GPS
indications. The driver can customize
the lighting and the layout of
the different information on-screen.
The display’s horizon and varying
perspective-effects create a
sense of depth and help the driver
to focus.

It's amazing how you own a Tesla Model 3 (a dream car btw!) but can still see the beauty and virtues of say "inferior" cars. That's not so common to see and I really appreciate it! One question (or rather an idea for a future video), what's your opinion on Hybrid vs Electric cars? Driving experience, convinience and expenses are important topics to cover for sure :)

Thanks Bruno for feedback and to be honest i always think about price and quality and what cars can offer and I think Joe it is a good deal with alot of quality at half price then Model 3. Hybrid vs Electric , i will go full electric for sure. I have owned an plug in hybrid and to much complicated to charge everyday only for 40 km real range .....if something broke later you have to pay more because 2 engines, motor and other complicated hybrid stuff....still have to change oil filters etc..... Better full electric 👍👍
