I just love how the jump animations actually captures the five phases of jumping: approach, takeoff, flight, landing and recovery while keeping a sense of gravity and weight without ever feeling obnoxious or as if it’s floating or bouncing like so many other horse games 🙌🏼

Literally beautiful when the horses jump...

If you get the striding correct then you don't get the little step jumps in the same way! It only does that because the striding is off and in order for it to jump properly it has to adjust I think :)

I adore the horse animation, especially the bascule when the horse jumps. I feel like its forgotten in many games and horses jump looking like a girafe.

When they go over the trot poles, it’s like they know that the poles are there. That’s amazing.❤ I really like, looks like they worked really well and hard on this game.

I think this game has SOOO much potential especially with dressage most games dont have a lot of dressage moves and stuff but it seems like a great game with loads of potential! (btw. im not a dressage rider im just going off what i know :/ )

I love the Horse model although it isn't very realistic it also looks great and it isn't too unrealistic either It's just very pretty (i also REALLY like the animations!)

Always appreciate you covering new horse games, acknowledging that many are in early EARLY stages, but still giving cohesive feedback. I hope the devs listen!

1:21 The character model looks like someone who's sitting on a horse for the first time since doing one of those fair pony rides as a kid. XD (I have no doubt that I looked exactly like that, if not worse, back when I first started taking lessons, lmao.)

4:39 I understand where your coming from but it takes way more then that. Like giving lots of leg depending on the horse, eyes up, staying confident, counting the strides, collecting or extending, like it’s a whole process! I understand what you mean but the rider does way more then what u stated

There has always been something bugging me about the animation of horses even in RDR2. Then I watched rattles video on this game and I realised ITS THE TAIL. The way the tail moves on this model sells everything!! I adore it!!

I was thinking the same thing when she said “you give the horse more energy” and when I thought “more passion more energy” she said it too 😂 4:46

the reason why the horse does a couple steps before the jump is for striding! so if ur striding isn't correct the horse will fix it for u!

You can tell the difference between an extended canter and gallop based off of how many beats there are (canter is 3 and gallop is 4 iirc)
