@@BombSponge I mean considering most normal sports cars are already overkill in terms of capability for the road then this one definitely goes a lot further, and less is definitely more fun, I'll agree with that. However it's still nice that there's an extreme performance version that showcases what a brand is capable of. The vast level of adjustability and especially down force stay impressive no matter how you look at it. @@Filipolis I appreciate the marketing/design exercise but it's not a race car unless a set of slicks fit in the trunk somewhere? It's a wannabe race car for wannabe race car drivers on the street where you can't race it. I guess if someone wants to believe they're in a race car so be it. No matter how much they spent on aero and engineering it's still running on road tyres and would need a lot of mods to get it race ready. The engineering I appreciate, the aero overkill for the street is cringe IMHO. Bit like the Senna but at least they marketed that as a track car.
Such an epic engineering creation. Preuninger's team are some of the most passionate car makers to ever exist.
Andy is such a genuine enthusiast and that transfers over to the cars that his team produces and embodies what the GT range is all about. I can't honestly imagine where they can go after this though, but they always manage to up the game. The car is a technical "Tour de Force" and I can't wait to see the reviews and hear the engine going from 6-9k.
The best 992 GT3RS presentation video among all.
I love how much they can stretch a platform. The 911 as a car suits so many different drivers and abilities, for different uses and needs. This is the pinnacle and it’s stunning 😍
So much information to process, so much greatness to appreciate. A car that’s not focussed on 0-60 times, but cornering at neck wrenching speeds. 👏
@raymondgonzales8780
Жыл бұрын
Wrong, the reason they went with a central intercooler was for better airflow and more hp, he literally said the spoiler will also be completely active so that will also help it with the drag until you hit that new DTS button which will create a whole bunch of downforce that will let you take corners at speeds of 150mph. But yeah I mean it just means its better in every way over the previous generation, This car will easily be 300k with the mark ups in the US going crazy. And if I had the money, I would still buy it at that price without hesitation lol. This is a pure track car, it has 50hp more than the previous generation and beats the Ferrari for most HP per Valve which Honda had before them. This car I'm sure will be the last petrol GT3 we will see, but it is such a gem man its the best NA street legal track ready car we'll ever see and it makes me sad but it's a great way to go.
Even when you think it's impossible to improve the GT3 RS, Porsche always manage to do it.... incredible !!!

But why not look at non-manufacturer laps at other tracks around the world which are likely to get good drivers in a variety of cars? That's where you'll see McLaren pretty consistently faster than their rivals. This is not to take anything away from Porsche, but just to counter the claim that McLaren is far far behind.
