But it's absolutely cringe worthy - he makes it sound like all these changes are important to his customers. Joke. A: people drive these things down the street, it is embarrassing with that massive wing. Fact B: I could technically bet money that the average RS customer could drive any previous RS vs this and would not notice any difference. C: its just such a gimmick, bigger mudguard vent, brake vents, and oh so important carbon roof - really, nobody will notice a difference. Just cringe worthy, but I guess they have to say all of this, marketing material.

While I don't think anyone can argue there aren't those who buy the Porsche name, want (and can afford) the latest and greatest and like to be seen in something like the 991.2 GT3 RS, you would be dumbfounded by the number of 991 GT3 RSs that are tracked. In this price range and this caliber of car it is far and away the most 'common' on track compared to Audi, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, McLaren and even Ferrari. Moreover, it is an arrive and drive car. You can drive it to the track, track it all day, and drive it home with only so much as filling the tank with gas. And those who do track GT cars do expect that. So in that respect, these things are VERY important to the car, its customers and the brand. Plus, what are they supposed to do going from the .1 to .2? Go backwards in performance? ;)

@@warboyrb why are u so angry :D u may have a point but i highly doubt that mr preuninger cares what the "usual" porsche customers do with their cars, he is a real car enthusiast so it seems more likely that he is talking to the 20% part who really push those cars and appreciate every little detail. If u find this cringeworthy then ur clearly not seeing the real thing man
Mr. Preuninger always gives great interviews! No exception here. Thanks again!
I think the admission of those purely aesthetic aero veins leading into the rear fender ducts was the first time I've ever heard Porsche admit something which wasnt necessary or functional, lol.

Alan Bowers absolutely true. He was almost ashamed of it 😂

Well he said the black plastic insert piece was not necessary. The air vein itself is certainly functional. He even said they increased the size and flow.
"A lip that's going up like Mick Jagger's" lol.
I bet if you would ask Andreas how many bolts is in the car he would tell you hat size & how long their are !! pure passion.

LOL, I’m glad I’m not the only one that got that impression 😅
Long life to the N/A engines!!!!
Andreas knows his stuff. Great to listen to.
God I love his attention to detail. He seems almost upset about having one small detail on the car that isn’t functional. Porsche is magic.
There are handfull personalities in current automotive industry that can match mr. Preuninger. Would kill to be his apprentice.

Great presenter (of course) and the guy from Porsche is always a pleasure to watch (he was the one who jokingly told Chris Harris the gearstick in the 911R controls the radio right?)

Andreas is so genuine/knowledgeable. Great that he is willing to discuss the cars on camera. Great ambassador for the GT department!
I could listen to these two speak about this car all day. Can feel their passion and enthusiasm well done 👏🏻
his passion self evident, Preuninger a brilliant Eng. its helps when the Interviewer is equally passionate and Preuninger knew this... well done Henry, the best video from Geneva yet..
Best motoring journalist out there! Still in love with the Boxster gts video you did in Mallorca!
Great video Henry ... fantastic work

I liked this video before watching it, that's how much I enjoy Henry's interviews with AP.
Great interview Henry and the interviewee is pure Porsche, love it!
An Excellent presentation for Mr. Preuninger for the new GT3RS. Every detail that was relevant to the car, was explained and I cant wait for the Weissach package to arrive. Many thanks for a great vid.
Damm, got to trade the knife in for a scal-pel.......both great guys in the car industry and love Henry's writing style as well as dialogue. Brilliant journalist.
No awkward breaks, honesty and at no point did it seem that the interviewee didn't know the answer or what to say about the car. Top-notch job!
Sadly only a selected few will ever know its true potential. Amazing car nonetheless.
what ever andreas says is very convincing to me
Excellent interview, great explanation from Andreas!
Great interview with all the technical info we like to know
I could listen to Andreas talk about something like spring rates for hours. What a guy. And what a machine this car is.

such a passionate man i could listen to him for hours
I could watch these two discuss RS cars all day!
Lovely car, great enthusiasm...would love to be a part of Andreas’ team.
Good sound the videos from other youtubers can learn from this (hint: they had too much crowd sound). Good detail from this video love it!
That executive seems really nice person.....andreas
I Love Porsche Especially GT3 RS,great video.Thank's
Great interview. This is the car I would want to own and drive.
Damm great video
We need more videos like this
I saw a 2018. 718 Cayman S today in that same colour, it looked stunning up close.
Henry really shed some light on this channel.
Here's how to do an "interview" shut up and let the dude speak.
That was absolutely brilliant
I imagine (presumably Dr.) Preuninger’s job to be every german’s dream job, it would almost certainly me mine...
Andreas is a great man. He has no competition. I wish he stays head of Porsche GT cars as long as possible.
The look Henry gave to the annoying photographer @10:45 was hilarious. The dude leaning right on top of Andreas to get a picture wasn’t cool.
What a company spokesman! Beast!
Love porsche!
Brilliant! Thank you.
I love how for Porsche designing the streaks on the side of the intake opening was super aesthetically scandalous bc it “wasn’t functionable” lmaoo i love these guys
What a gentleman.. and obviously fanatic.
Preuninger is my idol. His knowledge of his products is so impressive.
Henry, he's way ahead of you in this interview. You don't even need to ask questions.
I was debating back and forth between buying a GT3 RS or a BAC MONO but I'm sold after watching this video.
Perfect racing garage, this GT3 RS and Ferrari Pista with a GT2 RS for the weekend hoon...😍
Nice suit Mr. Preuninger
What a great person to talk to And engineer
Hi Henry, can you do a comparison video of the GT2RS vs GT3 RS
So is it coming a sub-seven lap-time in the Nordschleife with this 991.2 GT3 RS? I believe that its going to happen. And yes this car its almost perfect for me. Btw listening to Mr Preuninger its a pleasure... the man knows of what he's talking about. Good interview.
Who gave this video a thumbs down seriously!!!!
Preuningur could speak all day and I could listen. Legendary.
It's odd how satisfying it is to listen to him talk
So, how many wolverines out of ten would you rate this?
@PorscheGTRSWeissach

10 Wolverines! It's that good! :-)
Andreas is brilliant. I was thinking about keeping my 991.1 GT3 RS and skipping the 991.2 but now I want both. Time to start doing more work around the house to build up the good will bank with the wife.
Pirty motor, keep up the good work Henry.
10:45 Henry: 'Piss off, mate.' lol
I was hoping from the title "TELLS US EVERYTHING" there was extra an GT on the way haha
Could listen to Preuninger all day #boss
In the close up you did with the camera, you got the real color? Isn't it?
We owe alot to Preuninger. I love how he was almost ashamed to admit that the vanes on the rear intake were purely aesthetic. Overall result of that purist approach is you end up with a car that is almost totally devoid of marketing BS and a pure driving tool.
"In the racecar without restrictor the engine can make upwards of 600hp at the same displacement" Porsche need to make a 600hp GT3 now
@Francis-rs7zu

Emissions, noise control, and longevity keep that from being in the street cars. The theoretical limits for a flat 6 are just about reached . To get more, you either need to go to higher RPM which lessens longevity, add a turbo/supercharger (won't happen), or go to a flat 8 which is hard to squeeze into a 911 body.
Andreas knows his stuff what a guy, puts shame to other car manufacturers engineers
He's a fantastic engineer.
that little band-aid on your finger tip.... you didn't do that while ironing, did you?
This guy is the best presenting Auto Executive in the business
Thank you
Harry giving the guy who’s filming that look @ 10:45
Why doesnt it have the intake scoops on the back under the spoiler like the GT3 and the GT2 RS?
Yes please.
YES! Andreas is my guyyyy
This guy is honest. I like that.
thank you for one "Brake Coolant" helper helper
