I just have to say I was so glad to see you put the heavy appliances on lower shelves and things like paper plates on the upper shelves. Your mom is going to love it. I think it will work great for HER. You did an amazing job!

I bet when your brother and his family visit your Mom and enter the pantry, they exclaim she’s been “Amandafied”! Looks so nice all cleaned up and organized! I’m sure your Mom loved spending time with you and having a more organized and bright working pantry!

What a difference, just painting and changing the light changed the whole space. Those jar holders and plastic boxes for flour, rice and cereal were my favorites. Home appliances off the floor and more space for countertops in the kitchen makes me smile 😊 ❤

That turned out amazing! You even had lots of empty space left over. It's so nice that you spent some quality time with your mama too.

The more declutter and organize videos you do the better. I've still not finished my closet. I can only do a little at a time and it's getting better. Your videos always help me get motivation and inspiration to keep going and do what I can every day. You and your Mom will remember this wonderful day in your hearts forever 💜💙💚💛🧡

You and your momma are so pretty! I love how you did this for her. I bet this meant so much to her as well as getting to spend time with you. I completely understand buying multiple items due to not realizing you already have that item. Currently in my home we do not have a pantry. We have a set of cabinets in the laundry room off of the kitchen that serves as our pantry currently, but the plan is to rip those out and line the walls with shelves and make that room our laundry room/pantry with shelves from ceiling to a little above the floor. I loved this makeover because it gave me ideas for how to organize that pantry once we get it built!

Totally! It truly pays to have an organized space

I don't have a walk in pantry, I don't have a pantry at all 😂😂😂, but I've got TONS of cabinets, I have a lot of the same items that you used in your mom's pantry. I also got a wild hair and a friend of mine became a Tupperware consultant, so I ordered a whole set of pantry containers from Tupperware ( the real stuff, not plastic wear that people misname and call Tupperware, a container from Walmart is not Tupperware lol ) I also have the better homes and gardens containers, the cereal containers, etc. From Walmart, I use those a lot too, for more than food, like my dishwasher pods, etc. Your mom's pantry turned out beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I'm so glad she loves it.

I absolutely LOVE how realistic you are with these transformations. usually people put these crazy lights & shelves that cost 100s of dollars but this is an example of a good and realistic pantry organization that WILL last! ❤

This is the first of your videos that I have ever watched. I really appreciate the way you showed how you chose to pivot, or adjust your original plan of how to organize items as you looked at the space, the items, the containers, and asked your mom about her preferences as you worked. It is so easy to get overwhelmed when doing a project like this for yourself (or a loved one). I am so glad that you mentioned that feeling, and then showed how you worked around that obstacle. This is one of the most helpful organizing videos I have EVER watched because you are a REAL PERSON, not an organizational automaton! Thank you for sharing it with your followers on KZread. Something that has helped me tremendously in my kitchen is that i have a list of all the food and the amount of it. Then, when i run out of something, i know i have run out. Knowing what i have helps me to figure out what to cook. My list is on my phone, so if I'm not home, i can still figure out what to cook.

I totally agree with you about getting overwhelmed when you are organizing a pantry! We just moved in to a new home that has drawers as a pantry with only 2 shelf areas, so I had to figure out how to plan and place everything! At times, I was overwhelmed, so like you said, I would tackle a part I was sure of what I wanted, then go back to the other! Great job on your mom's pantry! I would love a walk in pantry! Folding tables would have helped the process of emptying the pantry. Washing the containers the day before will better ensure there’s no residual moisture. Tea tier looks great, and taping the instructions under the lid is smart! Love that you could bless your momma.

Good morning Amanda, hope you are enjoying your visit with your Mom. How sweet of you to organize her pantry. I love all the clear containers. Having labels is such an extra nice touch. Its so very hard to really know what you even have when it’s not organized. I like to clean my refrigerator ,straighten out my pantry and do inventory before I make my shopping list. Saw a painting hack the other day. Put a zip lock bag into whatever you pour you paint into. 2 things accomplished…keeps your cup paint free, any paint remaining..you just close up the bag, keeps your paint fresh and reusable.

I really wish I had a pantry.. We live in military housing so no pantries, and everything tends to expire before I find it because it's hidden in cabinets. But you made this space look gorgeous! Definitely gonna aspire to do this in my future home!

I like the containers that contain flour and rice, etc. are best. I‘m already looking for such, but I don‘t know where I can find them here in Germany. You made your mom‘s work so much easier. And you had, despite the work, spent a nice time together again. You can see it in the last setting, you both shine all over your Face! 😊

I was thinking about your pantry the other day and designed it in my head… if the door to the office is closed off and you could do without the cabinets outside of your current pantry you could make a massive pantry and organise to your hearts content. I have found since doing my pantry, a few weeks ago, that having bins with food in categories makes keeping an eye on stock so much easier. I have shopped without overstocking, and I love it. Your mother must be so happy.

Not as much as she is to me 🥹 but I’m grateful I can help her in any way I can!!

I have a very large can organizer and, in this season of life, it’s not as full as it used to be. I never thought to put canned tuna/salmon/chicken style cans in it. Now I can get those out of my baskets and use some wasted space in the organizer. Great idea!
