I thought the line was the problem last week. Last night, it looked to me like Derek Carr was having trouble figuring out the defense and wasn’t being patient. That interception he threw into TRIPLE coverage was a terrible decision, and in the first half, he looked like a deer in the headlights. Second half was completely different, just like last week.

This was a down n dirty battle. Bryce Young now knows what to expect playing qb in the NFC South. The defense was incredible tonight and they carried the weight the whole first half. After halftime, Olave made possibly the catch of the year, Shaheed, Hill created offensive momentum and Tony Jones Jr took the control of the running game after Williams got hurt. Carr and the offense have to gain more chemistry within the next few games, then the team will be where they need to be. I liked watching Bryce Young in college, I look forward to him growing as a player and I wish him the best just not against the Saints😂 The Packers are the next opponent and the Saints go into that matchup 2-0 against another young qb. Saints: Oline is still garbage. Carr is good if he is given more time in the pocket, but he needs to build better chemistry with the team (which is going to come with a bit more time). The defense is still top tier but they seemed to just give up and let the Panthers make an easy drive down the field in the last quarter. I get playing soft coverage but it looked like they gave up. Overall the Saints are looking good and are working their kinks out. Panthers: Don't give up on Bryce Young so quickly, it's his second NFL game against one of the best defenses in the league. Not many come in instant stars, give him time.
