@miltongloster they only really played bad once this year against the Seahawks. They allowed 20 points to the chiefs, 6 to the falcons, 20 to the packers and only really allowed 17 today until they let up because the game was won, plus they had two interceptions. I think they’re already a top 15 defense

Jared Goff having more rushing TDs than Justin Fields through the first five games is not a stat I expected to see.

In my over 50 years of watching my Lions. We have never had what we have now. This is all different. For the past. Our young Lions don’t know a losing culture. Only a winner.

@@eljoshsfgaming6335 Seems that way to me, as well. As soon as Bryce started rocketing balls deep downfield things started to look hot for the Panthers. Hopefully we'll get to see more of what Young can do once people start seeing more of those deep and intermediate passes. I think the O-line is a big contributor to what we've see out of the Panthers so far so I'm not sure what they can realistically accomplish until that's improved.

I was impressed by the Lions 2 years ago with their no-quit attitude and determination. These guys are the real deal. Very fun to watch. Hope they win a Super Bowl soon.

They've been an NFL joke for a long time, but they have some real momentum with this team. @@donbur1553 Well I think Lions definitely shouldn't be discounted, especially in the NFC, but unless your team has had a lot of success in recent seasons, it's a tall order for many fans to suddenly raise their expectations from 'didn't even get to the playoffs last year' to 'I expect we can win the Superbowl' the next. Just saying, winning a SB is hard and requires some luck as well. Getting up expectations too much often leads to disappointment for many, so it's easier to keep treating yourselves as the underdogs and appreciate what success you do get.

As a Steelers fan,.I would like to see the Lions in the Superbowl (and possibly win one). This Lions team is too fun to watch and I wouldn't expect anything less than making the playoffs. They honestly should have made the playoffs last year.

I'm a lifelong Panthers fan, but I honestly feel so happy for Lions fans. Y'all spent decade after decade after decade dealing with your team being one of the NFL's punching bags. But now, your team has massively improved and is looking more and more like a playoff contender. It's bound to be many, MANY years before my team can ever reach that point of improvement; but for now, I wish your team nothing but the best of luck as they aim to make it to the playoffs.

He’s not underrated at home base, everyone knows how important Sutton is to this defense, top 2 secondary player next to Branch. Cam is mr dependable, when you are dependable and consistent as a corner you can easily go unnoticed, but WE notice!!

Ram fan here. Lions with Goff look a lot like 2018 Rams before Todd Gurley got hurt. Lots of credible play action fact. Lots of Jets sweep. Some razzle dazzle. Some gutsy 4th down calls.

The Lions rocked! Dan Campbell is a good head coach and Jared Goff looked outstanding. The Lions defense is for real too.

The Lions are for real, and very likely win their division, and have a great chance at winning their conference. The coach has done a great job turning this team around, and Jared Goff is playing fantastic. After all these years of being a bottom feeder, it's nice to see the Lions having this great success. You could see this coming, from the way they closed their season last year. Good luck to the Lions.

Hutch's INT at 1:29 was nothing short of robbery. He was two yards away from the QB and still anticipated the ball placement.

I hope Adam Thielen gets the chance to play for a contender. He's earned it.

Crazy to think this game would’ve been “two bad teams going against each other” a few years ago

Panthers fan here. Glad to see a bit of an improvement. It’s slight but at least we looked like a football team this week.

Man. The Lions actually look well organized and well coached. They don’t look at all like the old Lions at this point.

It’s great to see Goff playing at such a high level in Detroit. This team may be in the NFC championship. They have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. Also it was so good to see Young playing kickass after the interception. That’s the mark of a true professional.

I think the most important thing for them is to get a playoff game at HOME. Then anything may be possible.

Both the 49ers and the Lions did that double flea flicker today, and both scored.

If you think about it that Seattle loss they played really really good . their exciting to watch

The Lions are for real this season...At 4-1, they are definitely going into the playoffs if they continue to play this good.

Lions играли, как зрелая команда: наказали соперника за каждую из его потерь владения (три TD!), контролировали время матча и держали отрыв, уберегли болельщиков от болей в сердце :) Уверенно разобрались с соперником. Panthers заведомо более слабая команда, но Lions не позволили себе ошибаться и не давали сопернику шанс зацепиться. Это очень ценно! Lions делали красивые розыгрыши в атаке. Особенно понравился TD LaPorta, когда в backfield игроки Lions в динамике движения сделали три передачи и только четвертая передача полетела за линию схватки в сторону EZ Защита Lions также провела отличный матч! Очень неуступчиво играли в своей RZ. Спровоцировали у соперника три потери владения. Стабильное давление на QB Panthers. Молодцы! По Lions один вопрос: корпус RB играет очень эффективно, но где тот парень, которого выбрали в первом раунде драфта 2023? У Panthers временами получается уверенное ведение атаки через пас, но Young (QB) допускает перехваты. O-line не умеет защитить своего QB от давления. D-Line пыталась давлеть над QB Lions, но Goff четко и быстро играл под давлением!

I say this every week and I’m a niners fan, but you guys have something SPECIAL. I’ve always rooted for the lions because they’re the underdogs of the NFL but they’re truly making a statement and it’s so fun to watch. Last season also every game they lost was by one score. This season it seems like they mean business and I’m here for it!

That INT by Hutch was ridiculous. Its also ridiculous to think of how many INTs he already has as an edge rusher. Dude's the real deal.
