I can't find the clip but I remember it vividly. When Goff was in LA and in some pregame warmups he said to Mcvay 'i feel fast today.' Mcvay said something like 'oh.. good' and then looked away and made a goofy ass face. Clearly making fun of Goff saying he felt fast. Yeah it's kinda funny for Goff to say that. But you're the head coach and with cameras and mics all over you. ... You publicly humiliate Goff. I'm so happy for Goff. Where I'm standing, Stafford is living in the house that Goff built. And Goff just built another one in Detroit. He had too, Stafford left nothing behind. Staffy took his passing records with him

Poetic that it took 2 teams' castoffs in Goff and Montgomery to take my favorite team to somewher it's never been in a long, long time.

I was at the last playoff win for the 1991 season. And I was at this game. I went from a 21 year old single young man, long hair, playing in 2 bands, 3 nights per week, to a short haired, 53 year old married family man, Realtor.

I too was at the Cowboys playoff game in 1991. I was a zit faced 16yo! It was a lifetime ago as now I have four sons and three grandchildren! I’ve had season tickets for 22 years! What an amazing night this was. I just watched this clip tonight with tears running down my cheeks! #onepride Go Lions!

It's a shame the Lions lost in the NFC Championship, but I've been watching this game over and over again since then. It's a great feeling to see the Lions win not once but TWICE in a single postseason...

@@jlp0174 so was I. I knew from day one that Matt Patricia was never the right man for the job. I thought Dan Campbell wasn't going to be as good as Jim Caldwell but I knew he would be a hell of a lot better than Matt Patricia. I was halfway correct lol and I'm enjoying where the Lions are now

I love DC's game-clinching drives. They're so intense and epic it's like the ultimate 5-minute offense.

Goff's first year with the Lions made me think he was burned out. Seemed like he was afraid to throw a deep ball, would only throw the safe ball. I really thought the Lions would draft a QB. Season 2 he started out slow but seemed to gain confidence with every game. Now I can't believe that we could have a better man at the helm than Goff.

You’re almost in shock for a couple of days because you can’t believe it actually happened. Every year it’s the same thing, it ends in disappointment, so you never think it’s going to be any different. I’m pulling for you guys. I hope the lions win the entire thing!

54 yard fg essentially was the game winning play

I was trying to do the math in my head when they got the first down and just said to my son "I think that's it." Made me think of my dad who would have loved to have been here for this. Was 8 in 57 so didn't remember any of that so he only really had 1 playoff win to remember.

Even months later hearing the announcer say "for the first time in 32 years" it's an overwhelming rush of emotions.

I'm a long time Raider fan and I also always root for the Lions . Congrats to Detroit. Keep it going .

I will always love Matt Stafford though he plays for the other guys now. He was the one who came to the Lions when they were 0-16 and won. He and his Lions beat the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs but were screwed twice by the refs at the end of the game. Having said these things, I am so proud of Goff, Coach and the whole team and what they are accomplishing. Go Lions. Tis about time.
