How many times was Jamo nowhere NEAR his mark? Interceptions due to him being somewhere else? Jamo not even turning around to look for the ball in time (or at all a couple times)? Goff has very little trouble getting the ball where it needs to be. That narrative is so overblown. They need to spend time together so they can have a better connection for sure, but Jamo was at fault for a TON of mistakes in this video. There were only a couple passes that seemed a LITTLE underthrown (like the Tampa TD is debatable, but the one where Jamo had to dive not so much). I love Jamo. But some people act like he wasnt getting the ball because of Goff, which is crazy! If your WR isnt where he is supposed to be and its an interception 3 times and goes incomplete because he doesnt even look for the ball a lot, of course youre going to be nervous to throw it to him. They need to work together on that connection.

Jamo has the sheer, God-given ability to Take It To The House whenever he touches the ball. That's something a lot of players don't have. Look at him against Minnesota and Denver juking out guys in a phone booth's worth of space. If he and Goff can finally get it together and hook up consistently on the medium routes (like they were doing a lot to end the year tbf), he's going to EXPLODE.

If he gets better at tracking the ball and setting up blocks on jets and reverses he’s gonna take his biggest step forward yet. I loved the potential this pick had from the start and he shows he can take the top off ANY defense no matter who’s on him. Ravens game showed he could be a real difference maker with his targets if he capitalized on more of them. Excited for the future man.

I think one of the biggest rewards of having so many talented young players on Detroit is that it also brings on competition. Jamo is good friends with a lot of these players (RA, Gibbs, Branch etc) and I think he saw how these players shined last season and he wants to get better so he can do the same. Don't think that there are not rivalries within the same team that push each player to get better. I expect a huge year from him and the main reason is that he wants to join the party.

The TD against SF there aren't very many guys in the NFL that can make that play. He needs more targets this year. A full off season and some extra confidence should do wonders for this guy. You'd like to see him haul in some of those passes, but he's so dangerous with the ball that you can live with some of the drops. And, his ball skills are continuing to improve. I think we've only seen a sample size of what this kid is capable of.

not good at tracking nor catching deep passes YET but fun and fast as lightning. Another season will do wonders for him and Goff. Bummer that NFC Championship Jamo had that deep pass go through his hands. That would have made a big difference in the game.

First few games after returning from suspension were rough. Problems tracking the ball, drops, and not on the same page with goff. All of those things got better as the season went along. I want to see Jamo put in the work this offseason and hopefully play the full season healthy. Against baltimore, for example, he was beating them deep several times but couldn't come up with the ball (one was uncalled PI). He has to get better at tracking the ball on go balls

what i’ve noticed is that Jamo has to slow down too much during his routes bc if he goes full speed Goff under throws or throws it too early, that’s why they need an actual offseason together. Just like how Tua n Reek had to have a full offseason to actually get it right. But also it’s not always Goffs fault bc Jamo is definitely not one of the better route runners in the WR group.

Goff is not the most accurate deep ball guy nor does he have the ability to buy more time in the pocket. He’s lucky he has the Oline he does with a great running game. What this video doesn’t show is how often JAMO was open but Goff couldn’t get it to him or didn’t look his direction.
