The first redo of the first opening was, I think the 5 year aniversary, the second actual remix I think was for the 10th... the opening, with the characters all decked out in fancy gear and chasing the gold bug was for the 15th anniversary and to promote the film one piece gold

“Kokoro no Chizu”, “Hands Up”, and “Dreamin’ On” are probably my faves. And obviously OG “We Are”

which arc are you on? I am in Marineford, starting it, I like the superpowers and the We Are and egghead openings, I also like the last one of the Wano Arc because of how well animated it is

@@Drusenju skypeia is nice, the next arc in the anime is filler but it is fun to watch I wouldn't skip it, the next one after the filler is Long Long Ring Long Land or something like that and it feels like filler but it isn't so you have to watch it all because it is important for the future, after that is the best arc in one piece that gets people hooked, Water 7

btw although I am only in Marineford I spoiled myself on the whole story, my theory is that the one piece is getting to know that the world of one piece is a fictional world that exists in a manga, this is my theory because many times in one piece they refer to the world as a fictional world or atvl least they make the allusion to it, black beard does it everytimes he appears and egghead literally saids the world is made out of imagination, you also have white beard screaming the one piece is real, one big spoiler, white beard and all these guys know what the one piece is but they do nothing with that information

well, you asked which opening was my favorite... mine's OP 6. i thought they were drawn so childish before and back then i was like 'why would anyone watch this piece of crap'. Oh, how wrong i was... when i reached OP 6 they suddenly looked so mature and acted like they were angry and fighting for something significant, i was like 'wtf happened?! This is not like the previous OP's?!' Thats where i started watching One piece. Then i reached episode 37 (like most people) i got hooked. And i watched it ever since. Im now one of the people waiting every week for the next episode :/

So what i felt was annoying, was how you dismissed the last remake of opening 1, didn't realize it was reanimated, then compliment the next one. It looks like you dismissed it before the scene opened up, cause the whole thing was different besides the 1st 15 seconds. So i feel robbed of your actual opinion of it.
