Played Foundry som Weeks ago and Immeditely thought of our beloved Space Elevator and how cool a little Glimpse in the Distant Orbit of a Space Station would imrove the Look and Feel of the Building. Awesome that we now get it! 😊

This game is already so big and to think were going to get even more now is surreal. The last time we had this much content added was in 2021 with update 4

I was really worried that the toilet water wouldn't slosh around and make a big mess. Thank you for alleviating these concerns.

That ending tho??? We finally get to see the top!!!! YES!!!!

@@marcbennett9232 that's fair, I do want to try it at one point. Honestly, what I want most from a mod is one that makes infrastructure cost more, so there's more of a reason to expand production other than milestones. For example: Make a single constructor cost 100 plates, 10 reinforced iron plates, 100 screws, 20 iron rods. Make a single smelter cost 100 copper wire, 20 concrete, 50 iron plates, 10 iron rods, and 50 screws. Infrastructure costing more means you scale production for more infrastructure which just translates to expanding more, larger factories, and makes mass production of parts make more sense.

@@BarneyStinson-d1p oh hell yeah, difficulty sliders for enemy damage multipliers, player attack multipliers, tier/milestone cost multipliers. Pre-unlocked/discoverable alt-recipe allow/exclude list. So much tweakability potential could be in Advanced Game Settings without having to change the core game at all.

@@KrimsonStorm sounds like satisfactory plus is right up your alley! might want to give it a quick try before 1.0. plus is also changing significantly, but getting an idea early is a good idea. they do increase the cost of infrastructure, not quite to the extent you described but still a bunch. for example, foundations are steel plates, steel sheets and screws. where plus goes really crazy is in the items and byproducts. and trust me, your factories will be much much larger. at the core plus changes the base resources, iron is stiritite, copper is sapharite and limestone is rubyte. each starts getting you iron, copper and tin respectively, each of which has plates, rods, wire and sheets, the processing gives you stone as a byproduct to make concrete. eventually you can sort the ores to get better yield but also new metals like lead, zinc and magnesium. I havent finished it yet, but they get into brass and bronze, as well as molten metals, and way crazier things. if you give it a shot, my only advice is 1- absolutely do the tutorial, otherwise you will be lost. 2- dont rush the milestones, absorb all the new things before continuing.

For reference, the current requirements to finish phase 4 are: 4000x assembly director systems (8x more than 1.0) 4000x magnetic field generator (8x more than 1.0) 1000x nuclear pasta (10x more than 1.0) 1000x thermal propulsion rockets (4x more than 1.0)

I think these requirments are insanely high because it only unlocks "employee of the planet" cup and nothing else, they will probably reajust or move tier 8 to phase 4 with more reasonable parts goals

Looking back at the requirements, the insanely high numbers didn't feel too bad once you got your factories in working order. Getting through the lower numbers will definitely go way faster.

I think the numbers required for each item in tier 9 is good and on-par with the design. They're surprising and force you to greatly expand your factory to meet the new production demands a project like that calls for.

I never thought id be disappointed that i cant pay for dlc, but snutt flushed my dreams away.

Hey hey, I know you’ve talked about it before but can I just ask if the shimmering/flickering foliage will be addressed finally? I have epilepsy and haven’t been able to play this game for longer than a couple of minutes at a time due to being scared I’ll have a fit. I know you’ve said it’s a challenging one, I’ve tried everything to fix or reduce it myself but unlike other games nothing seems to fix it.

I'm assuming your epilepsy is photosensitive? There are glasses which filter out rapid changes in brightness/color, as well as monitors/TVs that do that same. I highly recommend researching some of these alternatives. Software and hardware is always going to have unforeseen glitches which are nearly impossible to reliably and predictably reproduce. The team will be able to mitigate it for sure, but a guarantee is impossible because most of the things that come together to make your computer work and run Satisfactory were not made by the Satisfactory team. I wish you the best!

It's a joke IMO because once you automate the parts required, the game end-game parts are super easy. Edit.. Except for assembly director systems... that one is a pain because of automated wiring.

Agree it's no joke. It's exactly the same jump in difficulty that each tier gives you. You gotta figure out new tech specific to that tier, craft parts unlocked in that tier. Only difference is now you don't need to choose between idling your game for final parts or building a factory 50x bigger than any previous tiers required.

Good to hear that phase 4 has been significantly reduced. I did enjoy building up to these large requirements, but with new end game content, this would have been too much. But I have to keep asking: Will we get SMART MERGERS in 1.0???

But then counter to that phase 5 will probably need a significant number of those parts, to build the next part. We start Phase 2 making 100 Automated Wiring, to making an additional 10,000 more by the end Phase 4 (based on the reduced ADS needed).

@@sirrebralpalsy6542 Yes, it would only take items from one input until that leaves gaps and only then adds in items from other belts. This is in my eyes a requirement to make some of the cyclic recipes like aluminium refinement reliable without resorting to workarounds like trashing excess items.

The outro music was fantastic, hope it makes it in game! And wow that ending tease was so subtle yet epic. Have a great vacation!

Finally. That thing is so full, I keep having to reconstruct the hub somewhere else to get away from the smell. Merch idea: A fart rock that you put air fresheners inside. Fits the theme of flushing toilets.

I love thiss update! I love the merch, and specialy i love the space elevator thing finally being added. i waited for it for so long, i dont even know why i wanted it so bad. maybe ill even translate a few wiki articles to polish.

Not gonna lie, that ending made me want an ambient chill video based on the game. Watching factories and trains with nice music in a chillout video would be relaxing.

Really looking forward to 1.0 but also look back with a bit of sadness that these Updates wont happen anymore, or not that often. Also the streams where quite cool, and in general really fun to feel part of this crazy bunch of engineers. Also really wondering what 1.0 will bring story wise, and maybe even more surprises... who knows! :-) And maybe at some point we get a DLC or Addon that brings us new Biomes or Planets to fill with concrete. :>

The current ending is so believable. Extract resources from a planet using a completely disposable "employee" (look at all those crashed drop pods...) and in the end they just take the resources and say "thank you."

gonna assume once you load up the final tier 9 requirement parts you can ride up back to the station, you hop on the ship, then it shows the ship flying towards another planet in outer space as it pans out showing hundreds of other ships going to hundreds of other planets then displaying the satisfactory title image in the center and the screen goes black

Glad the space station returns for 1.0! I remember seeing it in the original E3 2018 trailer, so in the back of my mind I knew it had to be there in the finished product.

I love this company so much. You guys always hit me right in my funny bone. Good stuff! Cant wait for 1.0!

As someone who worked in construction i am stoked about the build gun. I can't wait to test it. Always wanted a house, now i can simply do it, i just need a really large backpack.
