This is the new Maserati Gran Turismo and in this video we are going answer the big one? Does it miss the V8? This new model gets rid of the original cars thunderous V8 and replaces it with Maserati's new V6 from the MC20 supercar. We drove the new MC20 last year and were blown away by its incredible engine so the Gran Turismo should be great. However today we unfortunately weren't able to drive the new Gran Turismo, stay tuned for the full first drive video coming soon.
For now we took a look around the exterior and interior to take a look at some of the changes to the new Maserati Gran Turismo.

Sensational styling doesn’t date. Proportions and curves work perfectly.
I love the old classic look.
Ride quality, gearbox, 4wd.... various aspects were covered under what you might call 'dynamics'. However the turn-in, steering feel, steering speed, lateral grip, understeer tendency, willingness to transition to next corner, roll stability..... very little specifically dedicated to going round corners was covered. Responsiveness is relevant but not strictly cornering specific.
Matt. Well that was very cinematic! Your director, editing skills to the fore for a car full of drama and style. Maserati are for sure on the ascendancy. This or a BMW M8 Competition? H'mm. Or if budget would allow Aston Martin DB12? Choices! The GT cross continents car is back. As always Matt, spot on review.. Oh! Did i mention your editing? Thank you. PS. I think you know if i was lucky enough for someone to take me to the South of France which one i would 'plump' for!

Taking away the V-8 was a huge mistake!
I went to check It out, it was beautiful and fast. I missed the V8 sound, sad so see the v8 gone. I'll hold on to the 2014 Granturismo.
Albeit black on black on black, it still looks wonderful. The front especially. This is quite a colour sensitive car. The red, grey or yellow, really make it look special.

Yeah the black is hiding the lovely body line lines and think diamond cut wheels would suit it better also. But it is a looker

I’m a GranTurmiso owner and brand loyal enthusiast. Sure they have their issues but you live with it and pay. The new GT are fast more HP but I’m still not sold that the V6 was a good move by Maserati.

7:45 to find "an every day car that is competent to do every thing you ever need it to do" you can spend 4x less😀 ... but yeah we got the rest of the message as well

Yea I was by a dealer the other day and seen one for 230k nice but definitely overpriced
