The last receiver I owned was a Marantz, and it was probably the best receiver I ever owned…warm and chest sounding, it was totally tubular !

Cat it handles all the channels without an amplifier for medium room ???

Absolutely! Either a 5.4.4 or a 7.4.2 is an option but the built in amp can handle most speakers easy. Call and talk with our specialist to learn more! 877-417-9000

@@sergiomasellis you need an extra 2 channel amp like the Marantz 7025 to power the additional height. The subs are powered and it’s just 4 pre outs so it doesn’t matter how many subs you do up to 4. We have the marnatz 7025 in stock too
5.1.4?? If i come out of the pre-outs for my 5 bed layer speakers to my big old Adcom beasties and my internally powered sub (thus the 5.1), can i use this unit to power 4 Atmos Speakers thus resulting in a 5.1.4 setup? will the Cinema 50 power 2 sets of Atmos speakers in such a setup or will an additional amp be needed?

Sorry but I lost any confidence in this guy when he pointed out the PHONO Input on the front panel. I guess my headphones plug into the RCA phono inputs on the back panel.
