To note Strixhaven is an absurdly high magic world even compared to other dnd and mtg realms or planes, I would personally bump them a bit in price in less saturated settings.

Are you sure? It only has five new spells and so few unique magic items. Perhaps MTG was more generous.

@@nicka3697 Strixhaven is literally a magic school, and campaigns in that setting basically give every character the Strixhaven version of Magic Initiate for free at level 1, so I think it's fair to call it a high magic setting.

@@nicka3697 The setting is a magic college that has planeswalkers who teach and attend and the heads of the houses are elder dragons. Not sure how good the source book covers it, but the mtg set and story seeded it pretty well.

The bottle specifically makes "delicious" coffee, which i assume it doesn't need cream or sugar to taste good. It just magically tastes good.

If I gave out that coffee bottle it would definitely come with a thermos top cup detachment that you could make coffee to your pleasing in.

I think a cool homebrew for the coffee item is to have different ones: one that produces black coffee, one with sugar, another with cream and sugar 'flavour'.

You should look at Minsc and Boo's Journal of Villainy. There's a a lot more magic item prices in there, each delegated to a shop, temple, etc, and what you can get is based on things such as level or an ability check. Prices also differ depending on the city you're in. For example a simple +1 weapon might be 300 in one town, and 400 in other, etc. It's a great book, and absolutely love it. There's tons of just great stuff in it.

Are people really bent out of shape because they can’t get coffee creamer in there game?

Ted, I don't know if you give out any channel stats or not, but I'm real curious about the eyeball count on these Strixhaven video. On par with other videos? I only ask because I don't (personally) know anyone really excited out this book. Not trying to start a war, just interested in what other think...

In baking sugar is treated as a liquid in many recipes.

I mean, there's still powdered milk and powdered creamers, those should work for the Bottle of Boundless Coffee. Plus, are we sure it won't accept ice?

@@BryantMoeller That is the kicker. I guess it might technically accept solid ice, but otherwise have no effect on the coffee itself and it remains warm despite the presence of the ice?

You said Wizards was staunchly against giving prices for magic. Is the something they have actually said? Why?
