Hello! My name is Ted, and I run this channel/community. I have had a passion for gaming and fantasy for as long as I can remember. In high school, these passions culminated when I was invited to play Dungeons & Dragons, which sparked a new passion for the world of tabletop roleplaying. My love for the game quickly led to me becoming a "forever DM". Since then I have run numerous campaigns, spanning multiple years-including a Buffy the Vampire Slayer campaign every Friday night for 7 years in my childhood basement.

I watched the One Shot Questers video before watching Teds' video. It was interesting to see the two different disappointment reactions to the new Ranger. Duke was like slamming into a brick wall which brought him to a rapid halt from his usual high energy enthusiasm, while Ted was like "what the fu...!" Both were like "this is the first disappointing video in the series, even with the certain changes like the smite change to Paladin, for example"!

I think that the UA version of Spiritual Weapon required concentration, so that brief mention in the War Priest feature was not completely new... but I can see how many either might not remember or might have not seen the UA change
I rather like these figures, they're nice enough to paint and display on their own as well as game with. I have the Minotaur, the human (Shaolin?) monk and the human fighter; I gave him the "goblin slayer" helmet. I look forward to snagging some more and I really hope WizKids finally produce a figure for this line of the legendary D&D character War Duke. That would be awesome!

You can use math formulas to get chances of success, or a target DC based on the same. *%successChance* = (21+Mods-DC) x 5 ... or the other way around.... *targetDC* = 21+Mods-(%success/5) --------------------------- Examples: --------------------------- Say you have a +3 to Athletics, and you want to know the chances to climb a DC15 wall. (21+3-15) x5 = *45% chance to succeed* The other way around.... say you have a +3 to Athletics, and you want to know the DC of a wall so that you have a 45% chance to climb it. 21+3-(45/5) = *DC15*
Hello Nerd. Nice video, but my eye was drawn to something that should rightly NEVER happen. The bow, behind your right shoulder should NEVER be kept strung! It weakens the bow over time as the tension of the bowstring upon the arms does 'damage' and weakens the pull weight over time. Unstring that bow!

Not trying to be a jerk, but maybe if I mention it will resonate and bring awareness. Is there a way we can reduce the number of times we hear "Let's go ahead and..." before every single verb? Let's go ahead and get started, Let's go ahead and take a look. Let's go ahead and read this section. Let's go ahead and stop saying "let's go ahead and". I get it, public speaking is not easy. Some recent videos have this phrase repeated an insane number of times. Hope this is helpful and not taken as a criticism.
Ya i mean it literally says it in the listing for trance. Trance. Elves don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is “trance.”) While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.

They wanted to center the class around Hunter's Mark, but we have to wait until lvl 17 to get advantage and lvl 20 to get another 2 hp damage every round? How does this make sense?
