Just watched a video review of this foundation over on Shelly's geekoutofwater channel. She really liked the finish and feel of it but the shade was quite a bit deeper than the same shade she uses in other Mac foundations. It drives me nuts when companies use the same name/number shading system but they don't match from product to product. Argh!! 😖

Believe it or not I have been buying MAC individual eye shadows for years. I buy a 4 or 6 pan empty palette and fill it with EXACTLY the shades I need. I’ve replaced them dozens of times. The only other ones that are very kind to my eyes are the Sydney Grace palettes. MAC is gentle and non-irritating to my very sensitive eyes. They are mostly mattes with the occasional sheen. I have many other palettes from PML, ABH, NdN , Patrick Ta, and Mario but the MAC ones are my “go-to “ , “ don’t think about it” palettes. The only other product I use is their Fix Plus but I’m thinking about this foundation. Glad that you did this video. Thank you.

I rediscovered MAX water weight which I actually like better than the L’Oréal with the dropper - it’s a tad runnier and doesn’t accentuate my pores, which I’m finding thicker ones are doing, and you would think the thicker ones would fill in pores, but my skin around my mouth and nose looks like an orange peel if I get something too thick Tailor gray looks good on you. I almost decluttered mine because it feels dry but maybe I’ll try again

I pretty much buy MAC lip products and Painterly pots. This did wear well but too dewy for me. Funny you mentioned Clinique because I still love using their concealer that comes in a tube. Forgot the name. Also….will you be doing a Halloween theme tutorial this year? You always did some great looks 🧡👻🎃

It’s lovely but soooo dark. I’m a nc15 in studio fix but had to get nc10 in studio radiance.

Loos good. Too glowy for me but seems Ike a great reduction for dry skin. I have Haus Labs..good.

If I had to take someone to the ER with a serious medical event I’d probably need my makeup to last for 24 hours. Ha! (I’ve done that too many times 😵‍💫.) But actually, lots of my hydrating foundations get pretty much absorbed by my dry skin by the end of the day, so a 24-hour wear might be better in that regard.

I can't get over how the traditional MAC shades are so off with this foundation! I've been NC25 for 20+ years and blind-ordered it in this from Ulta to start testing it. When I applied it to my face, I was like WHAT is happening here?! It looks more like it should be C35 or something. I actually thought they'd sent me the wrong shade. Totally off!

I agree! I bought NC25. It was also orange!

Happy Sunday! MAC is over blown except for there lipstick. However,it did look very pretty on your skin.

The shades in this are totally off compared to the usual. I would say that NC11 in this is actually quite close to NC20…
