I test out the new laowa 10mm 2.8 automatic lens. In this review I put it through it's paces in landscape photography.

hi Kyle, thank you for sharing your experiences. One thing you didn't cover is there is two versions of this laowa 10mm, one Af with 5 blades and one other without Af but with 14 blades i would know what is your choice between those two options.

Hi, I haven’t shot with the manual only version so I can’t really compare them. At the moment I can only give my experience with the automatic version 👍

Great practical review. Very interested in how you go shooting astro, and particularly how the stars look towards the edges - coma, focus etc.

Yes me too, I’m sure there will be some softening on the edge, but how much is the question 😂 will try it out in May on a trip

Since 77mm filters will cause a bit of vignetting, what larger filter size do we need to step up to in order to avoid any vignetting?

A single filter isn’t really noticeable it’s more if you stack multiples. If you want to go up with a step up ring a think an 82mm would work fine

Why is nobody reviewing the 14 BLADE manual version?? Too many vids of the 5 blade!!!
