What an amazing lens! 10mm FF! Amazing that you are still in focus with your nose almost touching the hood. Of course, at that distance you look like a caricature of yourself. This lens should definitely be nominated for the Toneh Awards.

I've had the Laowa 12mm 2.8 and I loved it. My other lenses got broke and I couldn't buy new ones so actually had it quite a while as my standard lens. And I was seriously happpy with it. So I can';t imagine how this 10mm will be. Laowa knows how to make lenses.

As a fellow Canadian male troubled with insecurity that I too mask with self-deprecation, I object to your perfect fingernails. After seeing them around minute two, I was completely incapable of doing anything else during the rest of your comprehensive review to but hope, but not hope, to see if you maybe cut one of them slightly off angle. It was only your tired, cliché "Asian woman with TTC transfer" shot that made me more disappointed. It's staggering that you got one of these lenses to review before official release. Kudos to Laowa for taking a chance.

I just picked up the RF 10-20 recently and I have gotta say, shooting at 10mm is quite something. Considering the Canon lens weighs less than 100 grams more and packs in zoom, super fast AF, and image stabilization, I would say we are truly in the era of phenomenal wide angle lenses. It does cost three times as much as the Laowa though haha. For people who previously used the 11-24, it is an excellent upgrade, but its not the most accessible lens.

I love goofy wide, and goofy close. Ultrawides make the foreground the subject so it's fun. Laowa is good at those things lok, I'm interested knowing Laowa has this AF one now. The laowa I have is manual and a pain sometimes. That one is sharp to the corner, however the transition to out of focus gets this stretch blur stuff that makes it look like the corners are unsharp with the plane of focus being very curved. I wonder if they've improved that.

I love this, I've been thinking about ultra widespread for a while now, precisely for architectural shots 17mm os the widest I jave but it os a fisheye and not my favorite. Distortion free or rectilinear widespread have been ony list, TT Artosans has a 9mm and Laowa has this 10 and a 12. I'm impressed that it auto focusses. I'm guessing no offering for RF MOUNT . As for the pidgeon footage you're in search of there is a huge flock that feeds in the parking lot at V.P and Danforth. If you feed them they will come.
