Good to see you back at Mead! I think it is ridiculous that permits are now required for you to film.

Yeah, especially considering the parks belong to the people and filming does no harm what so ever. On the contrary it brings more people to the park to pay the fees that are already in place.
The bump on the White Pelicans beak means that they are in mating season. As soon as they mate, that bump will eventually fall off. Thanks for filling us in on the condition of Lake Mead, that is how I originally found you guys and the rest is history. I like fishing but do not like hunting at all. Thanks again guys, God Bless you all.

Welcome back! You all look so happy to be back on Lake Mead😊 The White Pelicans you saw develop the hump on their bills (both male & female) during breeding season. They fall off after the breeding season is over. Thank you for sharing❤️👍🏻

Those are American White Pelicans and the bump is called a Caruncle. So good to see you back at Lake Mead! Great video!

Howdy from central Ut. Here's what I got for you. We have Epic snow coming your way. Pine Valley 20 or so miles above St George got over 3 seasons worth of snow sitting up there and thinking most of it coming your way by way of the Virgin River. All our prayers were definitely answered with water. Love your channel. Be safe out there ! 🎉

Good to see you back. I live in Northern Utah. This winter has been a record breaker for not only the snow pack in inches but the amount of water content in it, Those atmospheric rivers that dumped all that rain and snow have given the Colorado River and other streams and rivers the much needed water they have been needing. I have seen reports of lakes in the mid to southern Utah area are already over the spillways. One of which "Gunlock" spills over in the Santa Clara River of which empties into the Virgin River. We know where that river flows its content to. I will say be on the lookout for Lake Mead to be rising in not inches but feet this spring/summer. There is just to much snow on the Mountains that melt into the Colorado River. Good News for those lakes. Please keep us posted. Thanks!
The Great Lakes are also inundated with Quagga/Zebra mussels. We also have gobies that have been spreading like crazy. The gobies are starting to eat the mussels, which is kinda nice. The water clarity has massively improved with the mussels, which is nice for scuba divers like me.

Hi Guys! So awesome to see y’all back out on Lake Mead! Even more exciting is the water levels and upcoming snow melt! I have followed you for about a year, but on my TV., SO sorry no comments. Your families love of the lake system and ecological health, keep me posted on updates. TY. ❤. I am looking forward to seeing more great programs from you. Good luck and God bless you!
Nice to see you on home water again. You can see how happy you guys are.
I can't help but think of the enormous size of Lake Mead and how you guys showed the water levels. To see how much the water has gone up is incredible and I can't wait to see what the snow in Colorado will do to the levels in the future. I hope I may live just a tat longer to see the water going over the overflow again by the Hooverdam, that would be nice because the last time I saw that was in 1988 on my first visit here. Now I live here since then.

Thanks for posting these. I was stationed at Nellis 01-05, I miss living out there.
Me , being a ex river rat growing up. I love these videos, they bring back happy memories of family times. Thx a lot for what you all do.
Talking around the 1st pipe, I wouldn't be shocked if if the lake fell considerably less than it has the past two seasons. The big drop that was supposed to start in late February and early March never materialized. So far, though the lake level is of course lower than in 21 and 22, the drop off rate has substantially lessened. Your getting that nice clear water now as a testament to how much freshwater from the rains and melt off has flowed into the lake. Good signs.
With all those atmospheric rivers that bombarded the west coast for the last 3 months, I imagine ode to joy playing in the background and all the plants and animals enjoying the much needed rain and lake mead filling up.
Already know this is going to be a 🔥 video
Thanks for the update. I live in the lower main land of BC Canada. The cold weather is lasting long here. Still a lot of rain here and still snow and cold in the northern BC.

Heck yeah. Glad to see Lake Mead again. Thanks.
Thank you for all the updates!
Congratulations guy's! Thanks for going through all the hoops it took to get the permit. Heard a couple of weeks ago that they were going to let lake Powell fill up and not release much water to go through the canyon and into lake Mead until they have to. Perhaps because the upstream and higher elevation location will give them more options fo where the water can go?

They have to simulate floods, or the river will silt shut.
So great to see you back. I love how you respect the environment and the fish. Great job.
I know everyone is saying the same, but so glad to see you guys posting Mead updates again. This vid is awesome and we missed you. I can't believe the regs and fees about filming in Federal property. Doesn't it belong to US!? I've heard about this from other KZreadrs, but still sux. The 18.4 lb carp was crazy. Thank you guys and keep up the good work!👍👍

🟠 Pelicans of both sexes develop a bump in breeding season, and it's not on their bellies. The lump forms on top of the bird's beak, and falls off after the birds have mated and laid eggs. Its function is not entirely known, but is thought to be a display of fertility.
Love your videos, guys! I was outdoors all the time when I was younger. Enjoy it while you can. Best memories.

❤ yay for Lake Mead. So glad you're back on your stomping grounds and ready for a great season ahead. That 18 lb carp was amazing, I don't think I've ever seen one that size up close so thank you for filming that the way you did. I love the outdoors I'm in it everyday and to see people in other states enjoying nature and expressing their love of the land it is fantastic. I wish they would go around and clean up some of those boats, have you ever asked about that or know why they don't? Well I'm wearing my Sin City Outdoors t-shirt that I bought from you guys and I love it. Thank you for all you do and it's nice to see family hanging out together as I think that is so important we are missing out on today with most people as I grew up in a family of 10 and we are still all very close today and get together all the time. Some things that I wonder is you guys grow your own fruits and vegetables? I also wanted to say I think it's a disgrace that they charge you to film especially when it is a place where your tax dollars are spent already and then to pay even more on top of it when it's our land in the first place. God bless each and everyone of you and keep up your love of the outdoors and keep sharing as we all love your videos and I respect each and everyone of you for what you have accomplished in your lives that you share with all of us. God bless❤. Mark
My mom was on the lake the summer of 1969 with a large party of people. A storm came out of nowhere with 6' waves that capsized the boat. There weren't enough life vests to go around so my mom dog-paddled to shore with another lady, walked barefoot and found help. It was on the front page of the LVRJ along with headlines about the Vietnam War.

Hey Guys I was thrilled to see you getting time on our local news in Salt Lake! You're doing such a great job and love all your doing and keeping track of for the rest of us in the West. Our wildlife has been devastated here in our Mountains having no place to go with all the development, this deep snow, and long winter. There's benefit and tragedy to every weather being 'geo-engineered. Hard to see all the loss here, but glad to see our GSL recovering too.
Great to see you back on Lake Mead and catching some nice fish. Keep up the fantastic videos!
