Oh wow... that looks awesome. I have the RTV-X1120 and love it, but a longer bed would be super useful!!! The biggest feature that I'd love to have is an ability to drop the tailgate from within the cab. It's annoying to have to get out and open it manually each time.
Nice machine. I have a 2004 RTV900W which has a 3 speed hydro transmission. We use the middle speed almost all the time. It only has 3,200 hours on it, doesn't use oil or leak anyplace. It isn't going anyplace. Given how we use ours, the lack of the middle gear made us nervous. New ours was less than $10K. The price of the new ones is heart stopping.
I wish they would make a 4 seater with a full heat/air cab with a "standard" bed. The short bed on the 1140's is essentially useless if you want to put anything back there. Needs to be at least the length of the 1120s now.
We have one at work . It is pretty cool . We just got the new sidekicks and the new cab 540 model.
I love my 1120, but that long bed would be fantastic to have.
About time!
Hi just found your channel thanks to Mike Morgan, really enjoyed your walk round and the long bed features look great. Thanks for an honest and open review that make watching worthwhile.
We have an older version at work. Build like a tank, only downside is top speed is about 24mph. Wish I had one at home!
If someone made an aftermarket bed like this for my RTV 900 I'd order it in a second! Nice review!
Hello I came over from Mike Morgans Channel. Love the long Bed
The improved trans, will it be coming out in the 1100 cab version also ? The trans is by far my biggest complaint, I have tried applying the brake, but that does not seem to make any difference. If any thing, blerping the throttle seems to help some times.
Good. The RTV bed was a bit small for brush work and such.
Mike Morgan sent me here...I like your channel. I subscribed and I'll be watching...thanks!
Nice machine for hauling…just like the tractors ya really need to know what your primary use of machine will be. While a good looking hauler, I’m wondering about towing trailers with it. Guess one would need close to a 2’ hitch extension or you’re on the ground to hook up every time. I use my UTV for work around the place, hunting and cruising. Pulling small trailers, sprayers and drags. So this wouldn’t fit the all round use for me, but sure would make hauling limbs, lumber and larger game a lot easier.
i mean its a another cool utv that your average ranch family like us cant really ever afford to get. but its cool to see these videos about them non the less. 😂
Nice looking machine, I wish I had a use for one.

@@Kevin-ne3tl right? i was saying i reader get an older diesel pickup truck then spend more then 10k for something thats only gonna be used around the property for small task.
Now it just needs a hvac cab for emergency services uses.
I have the 4 seat or extended cab version, with back seats folded down the long bed is indispensable! I use it to feed my cows daily, there's no way I would get an RTV without a long bed after experiencing the benefit of having one, and I always wondered why no one makes a long bed two seat RTV, but it looks like Kubota finally figured it out, when they do produce a dedicated two seat long bed RTV I'll get one, the short bed is almost useless for what I'm doing, the RTV is much easier on the pasture than a pickup or tractor especially in wet conditions.
The only RTV I have is permatex gasket sealer... 😄
I have the 1140 rtv my main complaint is how easy rad plugged up constantly have clean it. It also fill with mud easily
Do you think there will ever be a 4 seater sidekick? I want a Kubota that my family will fit in that can go more than 25mph. I'm a farmer and 25mph is a dealbreaker when I want to use it to go check fields.
At last. A decent sized bed on a side by side. In 2020 during covid my quad bike broke and was going to take 4 months to get parts from japan. I could not get a new quad within 4 months so i ordered a Rtv 900. Always swore I would never get one due to the size of the bed. Looked at kubota, John Deere, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Polaris etc etc and all had undersized beds. Got the Kubota and so much better than a quad bike but the bed size is crap. When this is released in Australia I will immediately trade in my 900 for one of these. Baffles me why all the manufacturers did not do this 10 years ago.

I have had a Can Am Defender Pro with 6.5' bed for three years. It's a workhorse and has a gas, 1000cc engine. We love it on the farm!!
How does it compare to the Toro HD?
I've read complaints about the abrupt stop when lifting foot off accelerator, has that been addressed or is that why you mentioned it?
@rodd8125

It's just a product of a hydrostatic transmission, there are aftermarket coast valves you can install to alleviate this issue but this is how it comes from the factory.

Super simple to build one on kubota’s website. Done it multiple times then went and saw the dealer. I have 2 RTV 1140x. One with 1200 hours and the other at 230hours.
Curious, has Kubota ever considered building a gas version of these?

Kubota finally built a mini-truck, excellent, just missing a cab :(...and a ridiculous price to add one is the major negative to any of these UTV's...the mini-truck market has all these UTV's beat in price an utility function...$26k is about the high end of the pricing on a brand new mini-truck with a cab, a 6-7 foot dump bed, 4x4, manual transmission, heat/ac, rear locker. ATV/UTV prices are totally ridiculous compared to the mini-truck pricing.
@MessicksEquip

your not totally wrong, we've considered selling mini-trucks. Its a solid value. They are quite different though. The Kubota would have double the payload and tow capacity, better off-road ability, and a domestic parts and service network.
@Gadgetstoolbox

The area that I would use these in a mini truck has no usefulness. I need the restricted speed, pulling power, off road trail capability and not in a standard shift platform. A mini truck is in a different category Stop comparing apples and steak.
Instead of this I’m looking at a K truck. For about $10K you get the same plus heat/AC and road legal. Top speed around 60mph.
@Gadgetstoolbox

Then go comment on the K truck video. K truck is way underperformed for what I need. I want a specific tool not a multi tool.
For a 1990 Subaru Sandbar dump truck with the same exact bed for less than 10 grand and it's road legal
Learning from those cheap Japanese trucks. Still need a heater and cab.

I have a 2019 RTVX 1110 with just over 6000 hrs / 60,000km on it. It's a workhorse that is on the go 7 days a week and has to earn it's keep. It's always serviced regularly and used but not abused. However, some of the recurring faults I've had need to be addressed at source before I would consider spending big money on a new model. Here's a short list of problems I've had, 1, suspension bushes constantly wearing out (they're not up to the job.!) Be better on heavier automotive rubber type bushes in my opinion. 2, shift lever cables breaking. This is always caused by the small rubber bellows at the gearbox end of the cable splitting and allowing dirt/ grit to enter the inner sleeve and causing the cable to seize. It's too low down and is under constant attack from mud etc off the wheels. ( They're very awkward to change too!) 3, power steering ram working loose. It needs to be fixed properly to the main frame of the machine. Anyone else had similar problems.??
