They sold more se over mini because of the price. If they bring back the mini design and rebrand it as the se with reasonably modern specs and a price of of up to $500 I’m sure it will sell like hot cakes

@@sholmes_ttyythe mini battery life might be bad, but it’s a lot better than the current SE, a friend of mine has the SE 3 and he has a battery cased attached at all times, I use a 13 min and I have more battery flexibility than him.

If they were to build an iPhone SE 4 that looks like an iPhone 13 mini but with a slightly thicker case to accommodate a larger battery with the A16 SoC with 8 GB of RAM, it may actually sell fairly well. A lot of people like smaller phones, especially its better "pocketability."

I belong to that niche that prefers an iPhone mini... bad news for me 😢

let it be called whatever it wants, let them put whatever processor they want, as long as it's the size of a mini 13, nothing else is needed because these mobile phones are in demand even today and they can't be bought anymore 😢

The iPhone mini would probably sell better as a $400 iPhone SE because $600 was way too expensive for the iPhone 13 mini

iPhone 5 & SE 1st was amazing business premium design ever I hope this kind of design I wish in future

I went from a pro max to a 13 mini. Best smartphone decision i made. This is what a phone should feel like. I just need a phone to do phone things.14 and SE feel completely different that is a horrible comparison

A new iphone se would actually be a good idea for the market group that just doesn’t care for all the flashy features and just wants a device to use that isn’t too expensive. I know my mom would love it, especially since it’s not too big.

The iPhone Minis were, in my opinion, the perfect size smartphone. I am not a gamer and I don't watch "content" (movies, TV shows, KZread) on my phone. Phone calls, texting, emails...absoultely perfect fit in the hand and pocket. So brilliant. I am sad they won't make a phone in that smaller form factor anymore.

SE 2 was my iPhone gateway. I wanted to try the Apple ecosystem, and it hooked me. I won’t be going back to the SE, but I know many who adore this product

the star of the SE is the touch ID. Would suck if they get rid of it. Also, OLED displays and my eyes dont gel because of the PWM, so i need to stick to LCD displays.

Just watched this video and now I'm seriously considering upgrading to the new iPhone SE! The features look amazing and I love the sleek design. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

That literally adds up to be 16.75% larger… That’s huge difference.. I mean just for reference imagine jumping from 6” to having 7” I’m sure people would say there’s a difference there 👀

The 12 mini and the 13 mini had bad battery life. The way the software taxes your hardware creates a demand for larger batteries. YOU may get decent battery life on your mini, but the average user had to charge it by mid afternoon.

It's not about the size ... IT'S ABOUT THE PRICE!!

I think the iPhone 14 is ideal size & chip set for longevity for the new iPhone SE 👍

Why don’t they just make two sizes? SE as the mini size, and the SE plus as the 14 size

Some people really want small phones. I have a friend who upgraded his Android phone to one larger than 5 inches in size who was upset that he now had a huge phone. I took pity on him and gave him my 4 inch iPhone SE 2016 which he really loves. However, the truth is that if you want a 2 day battery life on a phone then you must buy a 6 inch phone to get a bigger battery. This is why many phones are now 6 inches in size.

I miss my iPhone 12 mini. Well, everything but the battery life. It was so handy and went in and out of pockets with ease.

Waiting a SE with a touch screen like a 5 years.

You could say that SE is designed to sell the old parts, but the size of iPhone 13 mini is 5.42 inches, which is definitely not 6.1 inches. Approximately this is the size of iPhone 13 Pro. I planned to buy one iPhone SE4 because my current phone iQOO 12 is too large which with a screen size of 6.78 inches, but now it has no difference since the size of the SE4 become 6.1 inches.

I still think they will used Iphone 11 or 12 notch instead of Iphone 13 n 14 notch to make the Iphone cheaper.

Hopefully they release it this time, eagerly waiting for a budget iphone

Not really. The camera on ur current phone is way better just for staters.

I dont know if ill get this phone or the iPhone 16. One of them for sure this year, we'll see closer to when they come out

It should be released same time as iPhone 16. So frustrating to not be until spring next year. Also no finger print and more forced facial recognition. Bummer

Been rocking the Mini 13 since it arrived. Still works great and does everything I need. Wish the screen and camera was a little better. But with that apple would have to amp up the battery.

I’m super excited for the SE release as that’s going to be my little girl’s 1st iPhone. She absolutely hates her android phone and loves fiddling with my 15 pro max and iPad so I’ll give it to her when she goes to secondary school in 2 years 😊

I love the SE 3 and the SE in general. I do no like large phones. I have an iPad when I want a larger screen. A small but powerful phone like the SE is perfect for a lot of people. I'm ok with it being slightly larger but I do think the size is a critical factor for people that buy the SE rather than just price. So I will eventually buy this if it's their smallest phone but I expect the SE 3 to last for a good while. My partners SE 2 is still snappy and fully useable just without the 5G but she doesn't need that.

I'm excited for the iPhone SE4, I've had the iPhone SE3 everything was good except the screen specs with huge bezels, I have changed to a new phone ever since but I'm happy that small phones are making a comeback to apple.

I was hoping it would be a mini. :/ I am looking at an iPhone for everyday life, not for entertainment. There is a reason why niche androids are taking off (reduced temptation to download and spent time in social apps).

I wish Apple would keep with the "mini" size. I have small hands, and the iPhone 13 mini is a great size for me to use...but not near as small as the iPhone 4 I had for many years until I simply had to upgrade some years ago to an iPhone 6S. Guess I will have to hang onto my 13 mini until it no longer accepts the latest iOS update. Hopefully the size of the upcoming iPhone SE will not be too big for my hands to hold comfortably when I am using it.

I am gonna wait til this come then I'll decide if im gonna buy my first iphone.

Mein altes iPhone SE 1. Gen. war bisher mein bestes IPhone. Top zuverlässig und na so schön handlich 😊. Der Akku ist nichts mehr und leider brauche ich 2 SIM-Karten. Aber ich habe es immer noch, es war das schönste iPhone für meinen Geschmack.

Apparently, numbers don't lie, but still they would have made some extra sales by adding a smaller size phone. The transition was perfect for the SE model to increase display to 5.4 coming from 4.7. And to the normal sales of the SE, Apple should account all the 12 and 13 mini owners, like myself, who would loved that and jump right away to get a new SE with the mini size

Price cut will be in battery and storage capacity. 😊
