Another loop is Cartographer + Librarian. Buy 1 Glass for 1 Emerald, and sell 1 Glass Pane for 1 Emerald. But for me the best in 1.15 is iron farm and selling 1 Iron Ingot for 1 Emerald.

@@RaysWorks I don't remember Glass to glass Bottles being a trade, just a Crafting recipe. But I just moved the bulk of my Villagers to the Nether, then triggered a raid, so I will try and see what trades are possible afterwards and let you know. But I have almost 30 Librarians with many having Book/Bookshelf trades, so I don't bother too much with Cleric-Cartographer/Glass Panes-Emeralds anymore, as it takes time away from trading with the Librarians.

There's actually a similar method involving glass to glass panes that's even more effective. Bookshelf --> book only gives you 4 emeralds per emerald spent, but if you trade 3 emeralds for 12 glass from a librarian, convert the 12 glass into 32 panes, and trade the 32 panes at the lowest possible rate of 1 pane per emerald to a cartographer you've cured twice, you can get 32 emeralds for a starting investment of 3, or a bit more than 10 emeralds per emerald spent. There may be a similar method involving glass to glass bottles (3 emeralds --> 12 glass --> 12 bottles --> 12 emeralds from a cleric), but I've never tried it.

Holy god that's 15 thousand levels-

6:05 the trick: first make sure he trades bookshelves in his 'Novice' state (and emeralds for books in 'Apprentice' state), convert him in a Zombie Villager, then cure him with a potion of weakness and a golden apple. Then he will lower the prices because he reminds you 'helped' him. Do this about 2 times and his bookshelf trade will be 1 emeralds (instead of 9). Buy a bookshelf with 1 emerald, place it and break it so that you will get 3 books. Now trade the books for 3 emeralds (1 book rewards with 1 emerald, so 3 books will reward with 3 emeralds) By doing this you will get more emeralds than you traded with and thus infinite emeralds.

I've had a named zombie in a minecart in the basement of my house since a few days ago for this exact reason. Since then, I have gotten so many emeralds from selling sticks to a fletcher that I could build a full 6 beacon pyramid entirely out of emerald blocks.

lol i have a fletcher that has these: (he was made into a zombie and cured) 1 stick - 1 emerald 1 string - 1 emerald (we have a spider farm) 1 gravel + 1 emerald - 10 flint 1 flint - 1 emerald as you can tell, we get a lot of emeralds from this guy :)

if villagers (who have traded with) turns into zombie game registers it as custom mob (same type as with nametag etc.) so it won't despawn

I just tested this. It works! If you haven't traded with them they despawn, even if they have a profession. Once you've traded with them, they don't despawn.

@@Kentang_Enak Yes, servers commonly do things differently from vanilla minecraft so stuff works better/smoother/faster when you've got lots of people on the server.

This isn’t new, the real nerf was that you can only trade 2 times per day now, before you got 3 bookshelves for 1 emerald, this is slow, you’re better off trading sticks.

Trading sticks is effective but frustrating. Build a decent iron farm and trade iron ingots with armorers. I found that to be the most effect way to trade for emeralds and xp.

New infinite emerald trick: buy glass from a librarian, make bottles and sell them to a zombie villager cured cleric!

I just wish where the red X is, instead of saying "Villagers restock up to two times per day" it would give a time frame til restock. Like "trade refresh in x minutes", with a countdown to take some of the uncertainty out of it. Theres so much that's hidden in the coding that I wish was more readable to prevalent IG.

@mother school not true. I've gone in the nether during the day and come out at night. Why would the times be any different on SP than they would on MP. Keep in mind that if you go the and spend increments of 20 minutes in there the time would look the same but a day or more would have passed.

I think the thing which counts most is emeralds per villager per cycle. With the proper farms, many renewable items are more or less "free". It is player interactions which are "costly", so you want to max your emerald gain with as few villagers as possible. I believe a perfectly rolled Shepherd (pretty rare) with wool/dye trades (renewable & automatable) can get you up to 64 emeralds per villager-cycle -- but the Butcher is an easier choice (52 emeralds/cycle) with all the raw meat trades, although you would need to make a passive mob spawn farm. Early game I tend to try to roll the "perfect" carrot-potato-pumpkin-melon Farmer, and dump surplus stone at a mason and paper at a librarian.

i saw the librarian in the thumbnail and i immediately knew you were talking about the book and bookshelves trade.. but i actually tested this already before watching.. and i knew the curing price drop.. since i only did it once, it was a no gain trade, so i thought this was clickbait.. i didnt know that continuous curing drops the price even more, thats new for me so thanks a bunch m8!

I have full catalog of all 37 Librarian Enchantments, and out of the over 26k trades I have made, more than 20k of them were the Book/Bookshelf trades. Thanks for the tip on trading items that you normally do not trade with them to lower their prices, and mine are free range Villagers, so allowing them to Gossip freely lowers their prices considerably as well.

IMPORTANT: ano5er method I discovered was to buy glass from librarians and revive cartographers, giving them glass panes. For every librarian (48 glass), you need 8 cartographers. Your emeralds will change from 12 to 128 in a matter of seconds.

If you didn't know, villagers restock their trades twice a Minecraft day. Therefore, you cannot spam it.

If GrandmaMommy (and any others) are in range while the cure occurs, they’ll get the discount too. I’m not sure how far though. The flipside of that is that if your villager cures while _you’re_ out of range, you won’t get it. And to speed up the conversion a bit, surround the zillager with up to 14 iron bars. Each increases the chance of curing in any given tick by 5%, IIRC. And best to do nine villagers at a time, as the splash potion can be shared between them. It’s a little harder to keep them apart when they cure though... just separate them with trapdoors. My massive army (well, gulag) of masons keeps me in a very healthy supply of quartz in return for stone at a one-to-one rate, and the XP from one ‘day’s trading is enough to mend all my stuff.

Since 1.14 I've just made huge sugarcane farms and traded paper to all the librarians. Just pop down a few lecturns and beds to get their numbers up. I had the librarians farmed up to get all the enchantments to customize my weapons and armor.

I just mine sand with efficiency 3 (instant mine), smelt them in my super smelter and sell to like 20 cartographers in the village farm. So far 2 beacon bases have been built as well as a few shulkers full of mending, unbreaking and various other books.

I found this on my own by accident. Librarian can also trade you glass for emeralds which can be made into bottles and traded to a cleric for more emeralds.

SOME USEFUL TIPS::::::::::::::::::::Obviously it works I tested in bedrock 1.16.2 , just remember to put in hard mode(you can turn it back soon) and also remember to put iron bars they make him cure sooner,take note you can do 12 trades a day( or at least at a certain time) and you will get so much book that you do not know what to do ; have other librarian (you should have mending) every Liberian has a book for emeralds and if you cure the mending one or others once you got one emerald for one book ( I had 3 more and I got 48 emeralds a day...)also If you do not want to lose the zombie name it and put it in a minecart or boat.TNX for this amazing video so much it really helped🙏🏻🙏🏻

That's done in survival in maybe 20 minutes if you have to catch a villager. If you have already a breeder that should be done in 10 minutes. And always prepare before doing things like this so you don't run around like a maniac, wasting time 🙈

If they dont restock in 1.16 try giving them a bed (make sure it doesnt let them escape) it worked for me

I did this back in 1.14, I accidentally discovered this "glitch?" and the thing was that because they had access to their work stations they literally restocked every time. I had 2 cured librarians. Villager 1: trade 1 emerald for bookshelf Villager 2: trades 1 book for emeralds. Because in 1.14 they restocked infinetly (until they stop working) i could both profit and earn tons amount of XP and lately i built 3 full beacons made of emeralds. I Think this was 1.14.1 not sure.

Just build a melon farm and get 50 farmers. Done! you will get so many emeralds you will get bored.

I've never done the raid farm but aside from that, I was going to point out that it's a lot easier to get unlimited emeralds by getting a farmer down to 1 pumpkin and/or 1 melon per emerald. You can make fully automated pumpkin and melon farms and just keep selling 12 of each of them for emeralds. So you can get 24 emeralds per restock per farmer. You don't have to first buy something, place it and break it. It's easier. I've filled a double chest with 64-stacks of emerald blocks with this method. It's taken a while to do that but most of my time was spent doing other stuff. The farms were fully automated and the trading happens quickly.

His cluttered hoarder inventory give me anxiety lol. Awesome video though

There is another one by the way: Villagers sell 4 glasses for 1 emerald, and Cartographer gives 1 emerald for 11 glass panes, if you reduce that to even 10 or 9, you can get infinitely many

I have actually switched to using weakness arrows since you can buy those from fletchers (30 second weakness, though the lesser 11 second one is fine too) 60 at a time, and they stack which is just convenient, of course if you know your zombie villager is low hp then use a splash or lingering potion instead. Of course make sure the bow isn't weaponized (no power or fire aspect) and shoot it at minimum charge This is what I do in my employment booth (where I escort singular villagers via minecart to do employment flickering and leveling and infecting/curing).

As a side note: my favorite is still the glass exploit, crafting glass panes out of glass bought from a librarian, and getting an emerald for every single pane I sell, 16 emeralds per restock I stead of 12, extreme profit and no need to spend time breaking bookshelves- although I still haven't finished the video so maybe you showed something that may change my mind later into the video. Another side note: villagers from before 1.15 don't get supply and demand mechanics even in 1.15 (assuming those trades were all there, infecting and curing that any such villager after upgrading to 1.15 will likely destroy this perk), thus my 14 cartographers never ask for more than 1 glass pane per emerald, 7 stacks of emeralds per MC day. Ultimately I still recommend making a grind setup for "perfect" shepherds, I made a fully automatic wool farm (just white for now) to make it feasible for me to do this grind, the ideal (java edition) shepherd can yield you 4 stacks of emerald per MC day each, extra ideal is quadruple cured thus only requiring one wool/dye per emerald for every trade.

@@rajeshofficial1657 I mean yes, but it's so much easier to just buy them on bulk, plus the arrows stack, so it takes up way less space when storing them- into don't have such a fletcher then yeah, might as well just make the weakness arrows yourself- yes arrows, since that's way more cures for your buck and isn't really much more effort than brewing splash potions for 8 times as many cures, ofc if you don't have any dragon's breath either, then yeah, splash potions, not a bad choice, just not the most practical imo. Although you could make potentially make more use of those splash potions by cramming in a bunch of zombie villagers in a small area and then clicking as many as you can with golden apples before time runs out, I don't typically work on curing many villagers at once so this doesn't work for me, but I could forsee some people doing this, so splash potions might be the best option for those people if they have enough golden apples and click fast enough (it has to be at least 9 zombie villagers at once to really be worth it, since one potion = 8 tipped arrows).

I have a skeleton spawner farm to get bones, an automatic sugar cane farm which is sped up a bone meal dispenser and a nearby village in which I have successfully collapsed the paper economy.

i guess this means we'll soon have another NBT on villagers saying whether they've been converted before

either that or certain items could have a "minimum ratio" of price built in to the game (like 1 emerald for book, 3 emerald per bookshelf/1 emerald per sell glass pane, 6 emerald per buy glass) so you can't have infinite loops

The funny thing is is that you got 6 emeralds from one. But you had to use 2 golden apples and 2 Splash weakness potions...

Wow, thought the reset was per day. Didn't know they can reset at workstation 2 more times. My usual large emerald producers were farmers but think I'll try this next time.

There is another one where the librarian trades 6 glass for an emerald then you make that glass into panes and trade 11 of those to a cartography for an emerald

Please note that if you play on easy dificulty the zombie Will always kill your villager, on normal there is a 50/50 chanse for the villager to die or turn in to a zombie-villager, on hard the villager Will always turn in to a zombie villager

i usually play on normal so i set it to hard, make the zombie villagers, cure them, then set it back to normal

you can use fletcher (sticks) and any villager that sells an axe. The axe chops down more than enough trees to get way more than one emerald

the prizes dont get lower than 3 emeralds per bookshelf on my server for some reason

Now you see I did this in 1.14.4 xd I have millions of bookshelves

The best Trade loop is Fletcher + Blacksmith Duo. Trade sticks to a fletcher then buy an axe to cut more trees and get more emeralds and continue this trick. [By using this trick you can level up 2 villagers at the same time]

This has been in the game for a long time, still works in 15.2
