Kolkata is one of the best city inrerms of living, food, facilities. Connectivity, traffic, administrative work. Most imp people may have their voice on issues. One will feel when will be in another city. Plz be thankful to Kolkata the city of joy.

@@sriyasen6148in terms of food it’s definitely cheap and delicious but the rest are just meh it took me 3 weeks for basic administrative paperworks, buses were old and the metro is not the most connected, and local train is a nightmare for anyone from outside (lived in Kolkata for a year, chose to move back to Delhi).

This city was to be completed by 2010 for commonwealth games but due to Intra government disagreements the project was delayed. Delhi government just agreed to the project, that's it. The main work is done by central government and GMR group.

This is a planned city. It's hard to upgrade after a few million people have randomly created their own habitats without permits. Old Delhi has to be completely demolished and rebuilt to make it livable and modern.
Humare purana city kaa bhi brownfield programme k sath develope karna chahiye, sara purana building ko todk naya banana chahiye. Humare general public ko bhi accha facility milna chahiye China ki tarah, naki sabhi development rich people ki favour mein ho.
