In winters one had to walk up to the Pass from Village Kachhama road head. It was called CHHOTA ISLAMABAD. Kalmuddin and Gulpeer , two labourers might remember me -- they encouraged me to write a book on Kashmir - which is KASHMIR - A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE . It is available on Amazon . I had created a guest room and TV centre there . I had also got civil tele line laid from Kupwara to Pharkiyan Pass to allow tele communications with families of soldiers of the Bde . In 2000 , I had kept the road open for Light Vehicles in the Winters too.

It is interesting to see a vlog of Karen visit from Indian side. Nice vlog the POK and IOK is a debatable topic and I being from Pakistan don't want to go into it. It is the nature and people that interests me. However, must say, in Pakistan going to Karen is very easy. Only 7-8 hours drive from islamabad and road up to Karen is very comfortable for car journey. Good luck sister and thanks a lot for the treat.

my family lives in Azad Kashmir (Pakistan) or what indians call POK and had loads of people that lived near LOC people migrate to our town due to the shelling and shootings accross the border. One of those families lived in my dad's house for about 20 15 years for free before they were able to move and get their own place

and also, you started this video by saying, " the part of India that is occupied by Pakistan" Most Kashmiris actually believe that all of Kashmir is occupied whether its the Indian side or Pakistani side. On Neither are the people truly happy and feel that they live as they should do in a free country. So hearing you say that coming from a Kashmiri doesn't sit right at all... I know there are a lot of very patriotic Indians here that may be ignorant to the realities and difficulties of the kashmir identity and believe that whatever their country and army has done is beneficial for the Kashmiri people, and the Pakistanis feel the same about their side However , the average kashmiri will often feel very different due to the practical difficulties and issues their families have faced since partition. Just having a snapshot of a beautiful day as in your video is lovely to see, only if it was always as lovely as this all the time

Actually POK bhi Kashmir aur India ka hi hai. Don’t depict as it is a pakistan’s land
