Remembered the incident of new jersey usa. Police were astonished by the red spots on the road side for a time. So they put cctv camera on that road. From the footage they realised that people coming from a particular shop are spitting on road. Police confronted the shop owner of the pan shop and gave warning to remind people not to spit on road nearby. The shop owner took it literally and made a board that people should not spit in 150 metre area around the shop. So people started spitting a little far away. Latter police had to fine the shop owner for not following rules properly.

@@Tir2002 lots of south Asian people in usa. India,pakistan,nepal, Bangladesh ,burma, Bhutan,etc uses paan or beetalnuts and spit on public places. Some parts of newyork and New Jersey you may find spit marks. There is a fine for spitting in public of about 200 dollars.

I have even seen spit marks in dubai streets. Just a distance away is burj khalifa and by the lamp post beside you would be red spit.

I wonder when will there be a disciplined Zebra crossing system in our country.

Boht saare spots mein abhi bhi gandagi dikh raha hain...that's the sad part...we just can't seem to get it! Like it happened during the CWG in 2010!

I request everybody to maintain that city as it now, its beautiful. We should love our country and city.

Paan shop should be shifted to another area otherwise it will be no use all will go in vain whatever they have painted white colour will change into orange colour

Brother it's not because of pan, it's because of gutka. Pan shops of CP are famous due to different varieties of pan. Those who spat on the walls are the ones who eat gutka, rickshaw wale and homeless beggers in CP.

Shopkeepers of CP are themselves responsible for not keeping it clean... It is otherwise one of the best shopping districts in the world.

We use to go around this place 50 years ago with my younger sister almost twice a week Brought back my memories we use to see films in all the 4 cinema halls like yahudi in oden cinema

There should be central parking as well and beautiful plants in the place of cars parked on the roads😊

1:39 shouldn't this crosswalk/zebra crossing be a little to the front where people are actually walking?? As of now this crosswalk is under utilized, and instead vehicles are on top of the crosswalk? Shopkeepers needs to be trained how to keep cleanliness. They are heavily responsible for the shits in CP.

Delhi would've been better with Mumbai-like mindset.

You can see the difference. CP is built during the colonial rule. Its systematic organised with future planning. Now tell me is there a shopping market in India which is built like CP. We Indians used to brag like anything but we're still at the bottom pyramid.

It is well despite while most parts of the city are stinking with no roads repaired. May be for glories of few.

Just need beautification of citizens minds and behaviour now.....that's an impossible task. Like a film set, once G20 actors have left, city will become as before.

there should be less car parking actually and you should take the metro. Space for car parking can instead be used for footpaths and greenery.

5:20 very poor Quality of works has done, no repairs has been made. Only painting has done. See reckless painter has painted on Name board “ Block D”. Small things must be highlighted by KZreadrs. How “Kaamchori” is being done. Paints are scattered everywhere on the floor.

This is whitewashing not beautification. And they should use permanent materials for the claddings of old materials. The restoration done should be done in a proper way and not just rubbing white paint on it.

How dishonest are these contractors/workers look at the paint near edges of the boards and the floors, the paint is sprayed all over the floor. anyway anything is better than nothing
