NEW Ibanez Iron Label Iceman! First impressions, setup and pickup swap.
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I had the pleasure of laying hands on one of my highest anticipated guitars of the modern Ibanez era. This guitar was brought to me by a customer who preordered it over a year ago, he wanted a Seymour Duncan Saturn pickup installed in the bridge position and a set up performed on the guitar. Notes on the guitar include loose fitting string ferrels, high action out of the box and loose pots (wiggly). Overall the quality seems solid and Guitar was super fun to play.

I was thinking looks like Wes Hauchs jupiter pickup lol
Well done!
Killer guitar! I want one.
Really want one but could a slap a floyd or a gotoh on it?
When installing this pickup did you solder the black green and bare together across two posts for the square toggle switch?

I don’t remember. I know I used basic Seymour Duncan diagram to install it. There is no coil splitting
Is there a way to fix the neck dive on these? Mine is much harder to play standing up which is how I mainly play?

I’m not sure, using a wide leather strap may help but I would look at the Ibanez forums to see where other owners have relocated their top pin to remedy the issue

A few people have moved where the strap attaches to the body. I believe I have seen a few people put it on the back of body on the opposite side of where the treble switch is.
You sure its called a Saturn? I cant find anything on it!

I think it's Wes Hauch's signature, the Jupiter. He probably had a slip cause, you know, planets :)

This may be correct, I’m not too familiar with Seymour Duncan products outside installing them 😅
