The all-new TUCSON N Line combines the ultimate dynamic design, comfort and advanced connectivity of TUCSON with the motorsport-inspired styling and attitude of N Line.
The all-new TUCSON N Line offers sporty and distinctive exterior design features and differentiating interior details so customers can enjoy a driving experience with even more attitude.
At the front, parametric jewels are displayed elaborately on the grille, which sits taller and is wider than on the all-new TUCSON. For the N Line version, the parametric jewel patterns on the grille pieces have been elaborated with edges, creating additional reflections depending on the angle. The grille also incorporates the N Line badge. Under the grille sits a rectangular-shaped bumper and a refined air intake, which is taller and bigger than on the standard TUCSON for a sportier look. The bumper, which is replicated at the rear, works harmoniously with the bright silver skid plates. Meanwhile, striking black bezels frame the head lamps.
At the side, the all-new TUCSON N Line is characterised by an energetic-looking side moulding in body colour which offers dynamic proportions and lines to provide a slimmer look. This is complemented by a vibrant daylight opening (DLO) in glossy Black. The DLO terminates in the fast angle of the C-pillar, which generates a race track-inspired feeling of forward motion. Stylish Phantom Black side mirrors further enhance the all-new TUCSON N Line’s sleek styling.
The all-new TUCSON N Line’s sophisticated and spacious interior features flowing forms inspired by waterfalls. This is accentuated by sporty N Line interior styling and an exclusive colour pack.
All-new TUCSON N Line customers can enjoy N-branded sporty seats with black suede and leather seat coverings, as well as red stitching. Red stitching is also woven on the door trim and armrest, while the grey cloth crash pad is garnished with red accents.
The all-new TUCSON N Line has been developed and tested in Europe. Like the all-new TUCSON, it features an optional Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS) which offers additional flexibility on the road through adaptive damping technology. With ECS, Hyundai’s engineers have achieved a very versatile driving behaviour, depending on the situation and driver preference.
The ECS automatically and continuously controls the vehicle’s suspension to maximise driving comfort and performance. It achieves this by taking into account driving conditions such as speed, road surfaces, cornering, stopping requirements and acceleration. By controlling the damping force on each individual wheel, ECS reduces roll, pitch and vertical motion to enhance ride and handling. Engineers at Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center (HMETC) created separate optimised ECS parameter settings with specific tuning for versions of the all-new TUCSON N Line that are equipped with 48-volt powertrains. This provides even more driving fun for N Line customers, matching the model’s sporty look.

Which driving mode is the best for freeway speeds over 70 mph in the US? Also, I’m having trouble figuring out the two paddles on the steering wheel. Could you explain that in detail please? Thank you.

Kathy Eco mode is best for daily driving ..also on Highway. The paddles behind the steering wheel are for changing the speed manual....you have + and - it is simple to use ....👍🙂

Great review Dan, well done. Always in depth and highlight the various bits and bobs. Love this car’s design (all but one thing; why has Hyundai placed the rear indicators so far down? Imagine you pull up at a junction and while your stopped a ca pulls up directly behind you - then you decided to turn left or right therefore you indicate, the driver of the car right behind you won’t see your intentions and risk an incident). This is such a dangerous practice there should be a law against it. Also, just thought about motorway driving in heavy rain - road spray at the rear of the car will hinder the visibility also. Very bad for rainy England. Sorry if I’m critical about the safety side of this but when you have lost of son in a road crash you too would notice the bad ideas, too. He was our only child. It’s good to see it has two rear fog lamps however, for me that does a lot of driving on the European continent it’s nice to have the rear fog light protecting the the correct (or in this case, both) side of the car. How many side badges does it need to tell other road users that is an ‘N’ version? This is screaming it out. It’s even on the centre caps of the alloys! It’s a shame the rear seats don’t slid forward Dan, a bit of an oversight by Hyundai. The side blind spot monitoring system is the best I’ve seen on any car. Brilliant idea. I agree with you, the dashboard is a work of art. I’d have the red and black car, too. It’s my favourite football teams colours (Foggia FC) 🙂 Dan, a question; the electric seats are fabulous - I need them in my car, but do they have memory function? Don’t know if I missed this when I got called away for 20 seconds. Thank you Dan for providing us yet another phenomenal review. You’re the best. Stay safe and well. In North America the hp rating on hybrid is rated at 228 hp for Sante Fe I think it is the same for the Tuscon.

Christian depend in what country you will take delivery. Most countries in Europe have the car ready 👍🙂
Tucson N Line 2022 in Canada has different dash screen. Your Tucson has wide screen which roughly 10.8 inches but in Canada it is 8.5 inches. Also does not open boot with remote keys. There is remote start option instead of boot open.

Heyy just 1 question does it have 6 speed or 8 speed in European version because 7 speed comes with DCT and that’s not good for my city because most of the time the road is busy and I have heard the clutch heats so pls answer

I did a test driving on the new Hyundai today 1.6 turbo 180 hp. Definitely an impressive suv but not enough for my demand, my new 2021 Volkswagen tiguan is still my clear winner. Thank you, very nice video.

@@SDADanCars we’ve only just received the 2 litre longer wheel base variants which I think has less power then my 2020 Tuscon Active X. I can’t wait for the 1.6 litre turbo AWD in a couple of months along with the new i20 & i30 N-Lines and the IONIQ 5. Hyundai are really impressive.

To be honest i love that car. But the main issue is there are so many piano black parts all over the consol. There will be lot of dust. For the cleaning :( totally disaster ...

yes its a good car.... but!!!! why at Hyundai they didnt come up with a dam sun-roof? you made all this car... and a sun-roof you left out???? 150,000$ car and not a dam sun-roof.... im very disappointed, at least you could get a sun-roof option on the premium level! and on the N line..... come on man!!!! its supposed to be a sport trim..... where is it????
