If you still havent found a Lily, go to Willow Creek and enter the Sylvan Glade (that tree with a portal). If you go before 5 am, the plants in there will blossom and you’ll have a lily plant to harvest! The weather doesn’t affect that area.

James. Not sure if you know this, but a sims modder made a mailbox for the Bigwallet family. Thought you might want to check it out. There is also a mod called My Favorite Raincoat. It functions just like an umbrella, but without the annoying actions. Been a lifesaver for me. Thought these might help you out. Thanks!

If you go to the Romance Festival, they have perfect quality flowers there--as long as it is not Winter. With that said, you might have to build a greenhouse to get them started.

just been through the whole grafting a death flowerr myself. If your sim has level 5 gardening, they can take a cutting of any plant, regardless if they are in season or not, and then graft them onto another, which you‘d have to do anyway to get the orchid. Found a lot of wild lillys in the park in Willow Creek, took a cutting and simply grafted them onto a snapdrgon

You cannot get lilies from summer seed plants, I checked both Carl's Guide and Ultimate Sims Guide. They say the only seed packet you can get it from is the uncommon seed packet.

The “Is fishing fun?” intro nearly killed me

Fishing is fun. James you should actually go fishing irl as a video and post it on this channel titled “is fishing fun?” And just have a whole montage of you saying “is fishing fun” in every letsplay and then cut to you on a boat like “let’s find out”

Once again, James teaches us all the dangers of gambling. Also once it’s not winter, you can put the debug fishing sign in the pond and fish on the lot.

You can buy flowers from the stall in Tartosa 😂

I have definitely been lazy enough to take this shortcut prices be damn. Who wants to wait 3 days after visiting a world you haven’t played in yet for plants to spawn if they are even in season… or waste money on seed packets to get two low level seeds even when it’s not a starter pack. I’m really disappointed this pack didn’t come with new fish and plants tho. Specially with nectar you’d think we would get new types of grapes. These two things have greatly been ignored. I was so excited for werewolves because we got a new flower and a new fish.

That explains how manure kept getting into my house inventory but where do the harvestable go when they harvest your garden? Which by the way your plants could need all the tending that if he started with that he wouldn’t get to harvesting before your own sim could but nooooooooo that dirty their harvests first and I don’t see the harvestables in the household inventory afterwards. Also feels odd the ranch hand harvests your plants as part of gardening when the Gardner service doesn’t… My solution so far has just been to turn off gardening every day for the ranch hand as soon as they show up. But I also don’t think all the manure is making it to the household inventory cuz on days I have a ranch and I’ll end up with max 3 bags in inventory for 3 horses for a 12 hour period and when the ranch hand doesn’t show up because I have to rehire them I get more than that in manure piles within two hours… However my sim has a large enough stockpile of manure for fertilizer from before they could even afford a ranch hand and are now pulling 415,000 simoleons per nectar drop I’m not too concerned about the missing manure at the moment but I do notice…

But how does this help? Don't you need it in you sim's inventory to fertilize with it? So then you have to drag it out and collect it again yourself?

Just a thought but has Lady tried singing? I know you can sing to your animals, but also you could get a bird tree, and practice with them. Also campfire songs and maybe as time goes on Lady could become a country music star! ❤

Stepping out of the property to make calls is so real. My grandparents live in the middle of nowhere, basically in a national forest, and before they had wifi, you would have to walk out onto the road and find a spot to call or text someone, all while hoping the signal doesn’t suddenly drop.

When you go into HorseCAS, Basil should have green tack. (Tack is the word for the saddle and other things the horse wears when being ridden)

As someone with a Cattle Dog mix, coming with "troublemaker" with default is very accurate.

This just crossed in my head. If crinkleAss knows about the vitality nectar and always has a spare bottle with him, maybe that's the reason why Agnes & Agatha never died. CrinkleAss prooobably a spellcaster and copy pasto the nectars and Agnes probably took some of it before they broke up.

When you move, you should also get bunnies and birds since they’ll help with gardening

I think when the foal is born the horse should be named blaze or ember, if you want to stick with the “flame” theme.

One of the color variations of the Australian cattle dog is a blue heeler. They are very good at bonding with one person. And their coats can be very very blue! They are amazing dogs for farms, especially horse farms.

James referring to the dog as “too blue” when that breed is commonly referred to as “blue heelers” 🤣 while also having a popular kids show based around their color called “Bluey”

I thought the same thing. My heeler is definitely blue. Blue Merle is her coat color 😂. He should have been cautious with the personality also. They love their people but stare down strangers like they are a wolf and alert that the leaves blowing across the yard could be an intruder. 😂

if you want to get ALL the animals, don't forget the hamsters :P

He definitely can't claim to be playing with every animal in the game unless he has my first pet stuff in the game. Otherwise it's just false advertising. :)

James! I’m pretty sure there’s an option to breed your horse at the place where you do the competitions! (I forgot what it’s called hehe)

A couple things I noticed you don't have to take my suggestions. 1. I don't feel like its cheating if you sell the extra produce you got from those seed packs because you spent money to get them your not going to make nearly as much as you spent by selling the extras. 2. I have been playing with the horses, the foul will inherit traits from both parents but if they have a trait in common its likely going to be passed down. 3. I suggest keeping whatever Stud you buy to breed with flame until after she's fouled because you can't use her for anything while she's pregnant. Keeping the stud will give you a horse to do jobs with and competitions. 4. The Ranch hand works 12 hours no matter when you hire it, if they don't show up at 7 and you call at 11 they'll come and stay till 11 so that's why they don't always leave at 7. manure and it goes into the household inventory as do any produce they collect. I'm not sure how that's supposed to work but you can use the produce that is in the fridge or chests to make nectar without them having to be in your personal inventory, so it may work from the household inventory as well.

Might not be particularly helpful at this stage of the lp, but littlemssam updated her live in services mod to include ranch hands to “fix“ them. It’s previously worked really well in the past for nannies, butlers, and maids. I’m sure she will probably post a different one in the future to help with the bug, but this might help for now.

If you want more stallions (or just horses in general) roaming around you might need to configure Neighborhood Stories to allow households to adopt horses, which is a new option with the pack.

There's also rabbits and birds from cottage living that you could get! Amazing episode as usual

As you move through winter, you can go to the romance festival and harvest a lily or even get a graft if you want.

@@JamesTurnerYT i have just now tested this because i have the seasons pack and i can confirm that i only got it after opening about 20 summer plant packs, i bought like 40 starter flowers just to make sure but never got a single lily out of them so summer plants is the way to go

I know you like the struggle BUT you can make a club with one or more sims and select care for animals then you can start a club gathering and that sim will do everything the ranch hand does but for free. Also you should check and see if you have adopt horses checked on the neighborhood stories…oh haha Neigh-bor lol. Anyway also you should probably go around and populate the town yourself with horses by themselves or with families on the gallery. You get a horse! You get a horse! You get a horse! Just a suggestion. Can’t wait for the next episode!!! 💕

I think elder Rhy should move in with Lady. In a basement. He's gone from living in a tree house, to a closet, to the attic....now basement!

Speaking of making babies, James, you need to check on Lady's cousins. Especially since one got engaged and another is already married. I would also love to see an update done to their homes to accommodate the new family members

I love the commitment to the bit 😂Also I love Hugo! My parents currently have a Blue Heeler/Collie mix (we think -- we know she's primarily Heeler but we're not sure if she's mixed or not, but that's what we were told) and troublemaker is 100000% the mode they default to if they don't have a job 😂
