As a front desk manager, i can tell you that staying in a hotel for one night and telling the front desk agent that you're in town "to stay at this hotel" convinced them that you're an auditor lol. Definitely not surprised you got a room upgrade ✅

Haha I’m a hotel AGM and been in the business over a decade and it’s so funny how Ryan checks In because that’s literally the most terrifying verbiage someone checking in could use, despite him being so nice and innocent 😂. Also the bug Ryan found was not a bed bug. It’s just a bug. The bed bug hotel stereotype is the most painful misconception on the planet. I wish people knew how uncommon an actual bed bug actually is.

tip: if your looking for bed bugs anywhere, look in the corner of the mattress. remove the sheets and stuff until its down to the legit mattress. ive never seen but you can use gloves to check. under the line of the mattress, if you see little bugs, theyre bed bugs and just leave. tell the manager or maybe pest control. every corner is suggested to be looked at.

that actually reminds me of me and my mom haha. I am down 6k from 3 years of gambling over 1000 hours of slots+all types of table games and live show games. my mom visits me in vegas and first try first night gets the 3k mega jackpot with a 50 cent bet. I couldn't be more happy for my mom I just find it funny how she had the luckiest night ever and I tried for 3 straight years and couldn't get even a 1k win

Anyways, what brought me to finally comment in one of your videos is to say that you reading Haley's birthday book is so romantic. The thought of it, the gesture, the meaning. As a book lover, I think one of the most amazing things is being able to talk about your favorite book. But the fact that Haley can now talk about her favorite book with her favorite person? Wow! That little part made me shed some tears, it was quite touching.

If you don't like the book you don't like it that's fine, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he did it to make his girlfriend happy, I'd lie about reading a book to bring a smile to my wife's face any day, but if his intention was to show his audience he reads diligently then straight up lying with evidence to the contrary in his own video is not the coolest behavior.

Wherever you go, go with all your heart.

I actually did the plumbing in Hotel Fort Des Moines. To be honest you got one of the better rooms when you stayed. They get way smaller the higher levels you go, and yes the bathrooms are tiny in those rooms as well. You don’t even want to know what we had to do to make that hotel “work”.

OMG IM FROM SD ! I LIKED THAT YOU LIKED THE HOTEL AMD CASINO FROM WATERTOWN! I’ve never been to that hotel, we have our own on the pine ridge reservation, it’s called Prairie Wind Hotel and casino. Not sure how the ratings are BUT I was excited to see you go to that one and I wish I got to see the art on the bed! Looked neat!

William's review made me roll on the floor laughing. xD

He is brave I could never intentionally sleep in a room infested with bedbugs. Those things could come back to your house with you and are hard to get rid of.

So I lived through an infestation and I've been paranoid since, the bedbugs were really hard to get with, I needed multiple days when I was only cleaning, rebuilding whole room to check everywhere, washed whole wardrobe, bedding etc. I can't mentally shake it off and it's been more than free once since I saw last one. One bug and in two months you can have infestation, no joke. I wouldn't dare to sleep in room where I would find this...

as the book nerd in a relationship, when you said you were reading one of her favorite books and you don’t normally read i knew immediately just how much it would mean to her!!

Damn this episode has me in all kinds of emotions... That first hotel should be shut down and not open until they fix the bug problems, the other ones seem surprisingly fine but I am still sad at the lack of gorillas. First hotel doesn’t have a bed bug problem as far as we know. What he saw wasn’t a bed bug. If it was, his ass would have actually checked for that first and would have moved rooms immediately. Guy doesn’t know what he’s actually looking for.

Bed bugs are easily treated now. Especially since housekeepers at all these hotels except the first hotel are constantly inspecting bed sheets and treating all breading areas with insecticide. Bed bugs are less common and the only reason to have an issue anymore is if the place is under staffed, has lazy staff, or the business is literally falling apart. Bed bugs now are a sign of mismanagement and the first hotel definitely deserved the 1 star.

@@zombwars7749 I’ve had bedbugs before, they were horrible to get rid of and kept coming back no matter what I did and I was very meticulous about keeping things clean, and treating my bedding, clothes, etc. it cost me thousands of dollars in house treatments from pest control to finally get rid of them for good. It’s really not that simple.

IF you don’t find bed bugs on the sheets it’s best to check the corners and bottom of the mattress by lifting up the fitted sheet especially at the head of the bed. Also if the backboard is fabric smack it and see if any scatter. My mom who is a nurse taught me this. Always do it at any hotel even if it’s the Ritz Carlton. Look for bloodstains and spots too.

I've always felt strong pressure to care about women's lives but not vice versa. Women tend to get deeply attached to me and I've had more than a few want to marry me... but... I think when you don't even know what kind of video games I like to play... how well do you know me? I don't expect them to get deeply involved in my hobbies but some cursory knowledge, since it's something I talk about a little bit, would be nice. Like at least know a couple genres... Current gf claims to want me to teach her how to solve Rubik's cubes. We'll see if that happens. Again that's definitely something I don't expect a girl to know, but would be happy if she took a little interest.
