I used to work at chipotle back in 2017. There was an item HQ specifically told us not to make. Of course we still had an OG in the crew that would make it every time someone asked for it. B) The item was a burrito wrapped in a quesadilla. Yes, a quesorrito. The reason why we had to stop making it was because employees were burning their hands on molten cheese while wrapping the quesoritto. But that OG didnt give a hoot. Hands down best chipotle item to date.

As a former backline cook at Arby's, I can confirm the meat mountain exists. I can also confirm that your meat mountain was not lagidamit. The actual sandwich has all the meat Arby's has on one sandwich. I'm talking bacon, roast beef, steak, brisket, corned beef, ham, turkey, and chicken. They just gave you an extra large roast beef sandwich.

Dont know if theres anything behind it other than personal experience. I used to mow the medians beside the highway near Carlsbad Caverns, NM in the summer heat. The temperature almost always 100° or more. I would only drink hot coffee or warm water. It seemed to cool me off faster than a cold drink. I always thought the reason was due to my core temperature having to drop in order to cool the coffee to normal body temp. Might all be in my head, but I did this for years.

They actually have them in the registers usually. There is way more off-the-shelf products than people realize and like 99% of places have some.

Right as someone who's worked fast food her whole life I know that it's just a menu item and attachments to that menu item never a button that says what their allegedly calling it is always a menu item added with whatever else they wanted added. The receipt would tell it all

Meat Mountain was a promotional menu item for the first time about six years ago. I ate it once. Ate the whole thing. I felt a tightness in my chest the whole day. I’m pretty sure my blood turned into a thick gravy. Meat Mountain is a young man’s game.

I was a barista at Starbucks The "Secret menu" is just custom drinks the baristas invent and share between other baristas Although not many actually know about many of the drinks (specially if you are new)

When I worked at Starbucks I HATED being asked for "secret menu" items by teens. "No, you have to tell me what is in a Cupcake Frappuccino." I am glad the "medicine ball" actually was made into a drink, though. That thing does wonders for your throat.
