What's insane about this whole thing is that *was* a real mall in Dallas, and the Rolling Giant *was* a real art project by Studiobregón who had a location there. Kane recreated both of them in high quality for this.

Okay, I will make corrections per kane videos description, someone did the entire mall 3d modeling wasnt kane doing for that least that.

Yeah the poster in the office had a picture of Valley View mall, and the layout looked like the old Galloria mall (the winding stairs into the playplace and the exit towards Preston Road). This is kinda cool since I live near these. Interestingly, the other hung up pictures has a few new buildings in the Dallas skyline so it's a little funny.

@@ruick78 Kane actually was hanging out with wendigoon when he was watching this series, and kane said that he and that other person worked together on the 3d modelling, kinda like kane was doing this section while the other dude was doing another. But he wanted to give more credit to that person because he was the one that went and even got the blueprints in the first place. You can look for that stream, after watching the video, wendigoon let kane hijack the stream for a while. He gave tons of context like, what was the first image he found about the giant, all the stuff he found about the artist for the statue (fun fact, kane is actually making the giant statue again, bro is bringing this abomination back to life, metal as fuck), he even hinted about stuff that is to come.

As a Brit: all this and even with his backroom ontop of how young he is: he's brilliant; amongst school/uni he's doing this whilst working with the group A38 in making a movie (it ain't that 'Dream' movie, same group tho)

I mean, it's supposed to be a horror video with a lot of build up. Would kinda ruin the whole shit if he was constantly talking, at least for most people since they watch this for Xeno and not some over the top dramatic reaction. I get your point tho, I just think this isn't the right video to have so many pauses and reactions + some stuff maybe got cut out, didn't pay attention to any cuts.

Shame you didn’t like the CGI. I honestly don’t care, it’s amazingly impressive that an 18 year old managed to make that mall in Blender with the help of one other dude. If everything needed to be practical to be worthwhile, 90% of indie artists are fucked
