The curtains make the room look softer, more cozy

I like the curtains in the bedroom. Does look comfy and cozy. I guess relaxing is a better word.

Lamentations 3:22-23 -- His mercies are new every morning. I like Mondays because of the routine, although my work week starts Sunday nights. I'm thankful for His mercies every day!

Curtains in the bedrooms....cozier. No curtains downstairs lends itself more toward your mid century modern vibe. Love the blinds.

Black windows make a home sooooo chic! I love your videos. I have never been a blinds person-I love tapestry so drapes and sheers are more my thing. I love classic plantation shutters, too, but my rear windows are oversized so plantation shutters would look weird on them. You have great taste, Lynette! The curtains look super cozy. My vote is to keep them.

I think the bedroom looks better with the curtains. The color of the curtain panels even ties in really well with the colors in the pillows, rug, and pictures. Very nice!! Also, you have the cutest little boys!

When my hubby still worked, I hated Mondays. Then I made Monday my big cleaning day and I was all right. Hubby is retired now and all days blend together.

I have no idea how you do it. When I'm pregnant all I want to do is sleep and eat. You're amazing.

I think with the curtains it really is more cozy However without the curtains you see a far more modern look. Your choice.

I think curtains finish a room. Leave the curtains but raise them up. I love the blinds! They look so good!

I love the blinds you chose. And I love the curtains in the bedroom. It adds so much to the overall look. Moving them up higher is a splendid idea!

I think it’s a habit 😛 I’ve noticed I do it too when I’m talking to someone on the phone or video messaging etc or filming in this case- except I didn’t realize I was doing it on here 😅

He’s back to normal. ☺️ it was filmed last week so it’s been a bit. But you can pray for me if you want! 😄 it hit my voice box now and I can’t talk well. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I need to be able to talk. Ha ha.

Lynette, Mondays are my favorite day of the week. I think because the house is all mine for the day after the weekend. Its quiet and for part of the day things run on my speed whatever that is.😊 I like the curtains in the bedroom it softens the look and goes great with your pillows and area rug.

The new blinds looks awesome! I have some rooms that only have blinds - no curtains. But, I really like the look of the curtains in your bedroom. "Great is Thy Faithfulness" is my favorite hymn. I love the stanza with "...strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow - Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord, unto me." I have clung to that promise many, many times on those tough days! My mother had those bamboo blinds and make sure that you treat them gently. They will pull off and they will break they will snap because they're not that thick. They look lovely! :-)

Actually, Monday is my favorite day of the week. No one is around and I have the whole day to myself. I can either be productive, do something fun, or just do nothing.
