Oaklynn was so adorable getting her coat and boots on to go outside. Those sweet giggles were so cute!

My family always sang "Come and Dine" too. Wonderful harmony! Sweet memories. Love hearing the prayer too. Brings tears of appreciation to hear your family worship and give thanks! Thank you for sharing this with us.

I love it when you drive around and show the landscape with all of the farms and rolling hills. Every time I look at Oaklynn and watch her run and talk I am just amazed. It doesn’t seem like she is almost 2 years old. I thought her pushing the little grocery cart was just precious. Enjoy seeing all of your family and have a safe trip home.

Lynette, I’m so enjoying your trip to Holmes County. I’m 69 now, and unable to visit there any more. My husband and I travelled there on our honeymoon. We’ve been to Hillcrest orchard many times as well as DerDutchman Restaurant and of course Walnut Creek Cheese. I love Charm, it’s always been one of my favorite towns. I have so many great memories of our trips there. Thank you for helping me to remember them! God bless!

I am 70 and live in Amish Country OH. So sorry you are not able to visit here with us anymore. I was just in Charm went to Kevin Lumber. That building is awesome!

Oh. My. I miss Holmes County Ohio, my homeland. Thank you for filming your travels. I wouldn’t have recognized Keim Lumber. My last time in Charm, I stopped at a farm to buy someone’s lovely needlework and, while my sister perused the goods, the man of the house entertained me by playing hymns on his harmonica. Fond memories. Again, thank you.

My friends(Don & Debbie Schrock) and I spent the day in Holmes County the Friday before Thanksgiving. Our first stop was Unity Hill Cemetery where some of Don's family is buried. Then we went to Sugar Creek Road to see the house his Dad grew up in - called Schrock Hill. Next stop was Walnut Creek Cheese. We live near Youngstown and over the decades I have taken frequent trips there where I buy too much!! Spent too much again!! Passed your old school about the time rit was letting out, went to a comedy Christmas show and ended up eating supper at Der Dutchman. I love Walnut Creek products.

We love the Amish country. When we could travel we would go to Pa. at least twice a year. Never made it toOhio. The food and shops are just too good to try and describe. Can almost tastes the food as you go through the stores.

Felt like a vacation just watching this! Everything looks so beautiful and inviting! Really enjoyed this video!

Just watching felt like a beautiful getaway. The countryside & landscapes feel like heaven.

I loved ending with the prayer of Thanksgiving! All we have we owe to our great God and Saviour! This was a beautiful video! It looks like you had a wonderful family time!

I miss Holmes County. It's always especially beautiful this time of year. Glad to see that new local businesses are starting up there. The Thanksgiving meal looked delicious and LOVED the prayer.

I loved this video! Truly enjoy the simple life and greatly appreciate the views of Holmes Co. The ending was precious with "Come and Dine". Thanks for allowing us to go along with you. My grandparents moved to FL permanently about 10 years ago, but even my grandparents agree there is no place like Ohio. My grandpa only shopped in Amish Country when they lived in Ohio. Some of the best EVERYTHING you can buy! Food, Furniture, Decor!

Nic talking about the customer care in the store.....more than anything is the fact that this sector of the nation has not bought in to the mask lie, so refreshing. My town hasn't bought in to it either and it just makes for a happier world.

Everytime I go to Ohio to be with my family, we go to East Main Kitchen and well, since we are right there, let's go to Baltic Coffee, too😍

My husband and our family just went to Holmes county for our anniversary!! Our kids loved it and so did we!! We started right by Hershbergers farm!

What character in that hardware store!! We have a small country store in our town that is a mix of an Amish grocery and New York Deli....and I'm pretty sure they sell that Walnut Creek cheese. So charming to see these pockets of beauty in good ol America!!!

I Lived in Dover Ohio till I joined the Air Force in 1969 was station in Sacramento Ca. been here ever since .. love to see your trip back to Ohio I know most of the places you were showing.. makes me miss Home

I absolutely love trips to Charm,Ohio. I quilt and they have a fabulous quilt store in Charm,Ohio.It is in 2 buildings because one just wasn't big enough. Last year I bought some friends carpenters star pattern aprons for Christmas. They all loved them! When we go there my husband sits outside on the porch with all the other husbands and they talk about men stuff (mostly fishing I think) while they wait for the ladies to finish shopping.We also then have to go to Keims for my husband to look at tools and lumber and general hardware. When we used to live in Pa. we would go over to this area of eastern Ohio for an entire weekend because I could do most of my Christmas shopping there, getting unique gifts for everyone.BTW - you have turned me into a Walnut Creek fan. I get mine at Detweilers (Sp?)in Sarasota .

Oaklyn is such a sweetheart.

Holmes County is where I grew up and now live there again(in Berlin) with my family. It’s fun to see all the places I know. 😊 And I also know your in-laws, your father in law and I were in the same Amish church. Actually my brother David (who passed away when he was 17) and your father-in-law were best friends.

Love visiting Holmes County. About a 3 hour drive from Kettering, OH. So enjoy Charm, Miller's Dry Goods, Kiem, Charm Family restraurant. Loved this video.

What……..you were so close to me, less than 10 miles. 😂 Chuckey and 107 is the prettiest drive. Leaving Greeneville via 107 to Jonesborough is just hard to keep eyes on the road with the Mountains. I always think of “purple mountains majesty.” So happy you had a good trip. I would love to visit that area of Ohio.
