Your channel is one of the channels I used to help me create an emergency kit. Just wanted to tell you thanks, I live in Puerto Rico and during the earthquakes I was able to do everything I needed for a family of 6 with 4 backpacks including the food, which lasted us weeks. All thanks to all the small but helpful items you show here. If you ever wondered if your channel makes a difference, it has. We have 4 kids and they were ok during the scariest time of their lives because we were prepared and they felt safe.

I own one of his 1st haversacks in OD green love it well made smaller than this one but I like it being a little smaller cause I use it with and OD full-size Duluth pack they look great together and when I want to go scouting around etc I can just bring the haversack and leave the large backpack back at camp. I am a small guy so I’m sure this would be a good bag to use like I use mine but with more gear and a heavier load which would be great if u can carry more like that day in and day out on who knows how many calories etc. It would also make a great get home bag for the trunk of your car especially if u work far from home it’s a great size for a 3 day get home pack.

Thank You! This matches what I've been looking for, for a couple of months now. A couple of minor possible suggestion/modifications. A lanyard and clip inside the main compartment, for your keys, small flashlight, or a knife. A closeable [coil zipper?] compartment/pocket on the inside of the flap, and maybe the flap a little longer, for more coverage down the front. Is the exterior waterproof/resistant?

Nice utility pack. Everything is so clean and unfrayed, the whole survival situation seems to be a recipe for product selection. Don't get me wrong I like watching these what's in my pack videos, but you can do all this setup for so cheap and smaller so you can carry it around all the time, living out of it for daily needs, it becomes second hand familiar and more dialed in useful when you deperatly need it

Greetings from Canada. I like the old school/simpler approach. Can I ask the price of the Hidden Woodsmen Haversack?...it is very similar to a Canadian Milsurp 1990 Respirator Bag I have. When I started outdoor adventures with my father our kit was very basic we didn't need all the superfluous junk that many people spend their hard earned money on today, Back then we got the job done and we still hold dear the memories of those early days. I agree that the fixed blade you carry could be useful as a food prep, eating utensil, or perhaps for gutting fish and small game, I have something similar but much older. Stay safe and keep enjoying the Great Outdoors!

Morgan A Moncada it holds 5 liters. Not sure about the weight but if I had to guess, I’d say my bag weighed about 8 pounds
