The best thing about video games anymore are these marketing spectacles, because everything is downhill from there, especially if one is particular about first-person perspective, unmarred immersion, intuitive controls, well-calibrated difficulty, a fun gameplay loop, and re-playability.

They probably wrote them with AI because it's cheaper than hiring proper writers and it leaves them with more cash to make the games unnecessarily realistic or overly PC/Console-Burn flashy.

​@@Zakthextremest That seems like a baitclicky comment... aggressively provocative at best. Yes, gamers can exist well beyond the norms of the current timeline, and there's value in that; just be prepared for some pushback.

I have seen quite a bit of these 'promising' trailers lately. And many of them focus more on the 'flashy' crap to lure people in than the dialogue. Sub-par storylines, poorly made jokes and awful dialogue like they spent too much money on the flash that they couldn't hire real voice actors. And those were just the trailers of these AAA games...

Most of these are soulless garbage.
