Cool games. At a recent steam festival, I played the demo of another potentially good game - Arnold Bounty Hunter. It looks more like the first Battletoads - there are not only fights, but also various adventures with platforming, hydrocycles. It also looks interesting. I liked the demo.

I'll be surprised if it doesn't get delayed. That game seems to have been in development hell. We heard everything about it from original script writers and project managers leaving to woke contend and we had tons of delays. I wonder if it will even be worth it when it comes out.

Regardless, it will never satisfy the Vampire the Masquerade community, as I dont see it being a true sequel do the original Bloodlines 1 (even though I havent played it). I think the studio is going for a more cyberpunk 2077 approach, which to a person that hasnt played the original bloodlines, still sounds great. My fear is that they might not have enough time to finish the game and make it polished by fall 2024. I just want a great vampire game, given those are pretty few and far between. Hope they delay as much as they need to@@SIPEROTH

​@@jamescollyer2936 It's not the mechanics that are bad in most games now play its the dam story line and thr lack of engaging content and stuff being added that's unnecessary and over complicates games. Every game takes a rpg open world idea, copying from other games like the Witcher that done really well. The problem is is you sacrifice the emersive story for a emersive world because like 20 to 30 percent of your time spent playing is focused on map traversals, they offen lack cinematics and sure it's nice to play a game like that from time to time but what is a game without a pc engaging story ? Or at least a compelling objective, or something ven just a challenge. I don't want complex user interfaces and god knows how many sub menus where I can craft then add the item to another item then go into another menu and add a magic item that I have to activate and can only change by pausing and going back into the menu then have to travel for ten mins just to unlock a fast travel point so I can visit a shop to buy better gear to then go to another shop to buy better gear of a different kind meanwhile I've forgotten what actually happened with the story because I've spent an hour messing about leveling my character doing side quests just so I'm strong enough to continue the main story. there was something special and simplistic about old games that seam to be more engaging then alot of these over complicated games. Personally I went back and played the mw2 campaign and it was miles better even this it ridiculous outdated, the mechanics are terrible the game play Is unrealistic but it was fun to play through. Look at the mw3 Champaign and the mw2 campaign has all the the bells and whistles but it's boring and complicated. Then look at god of war a linear story line with slight RPG elements great gameplay mechanics, personally I thought the rpg elements where annoying I dont like having to go to a shop to buy new amour or upgrade my weapons but the story was so good and characters had so much depth I could look past that. Now every game is going have stuff you don't like but when its overwhelmingly filled with filler, stuff to make the game s am big and cool expansive with awsome mechanics that are actually just gimmicks none it is really satisfying. I don't understand how a survival game with unrealistic graphics and a story about being shrunk by a mad scientist and ant armour can be better then a massive studio that's made a space game with like 500 planets (star field) how is that a thing how is grounded more fun to play than star field lol. Somthing wrong with the world.

Project mist looks amazing, crimson desert looks fun too. Stalker 2 is also on my most wanted list. Fable and the lost wild look fun, but i dont know if i will be playing them. Black myth looks quite interesting but not quite my type also. Unrecord looks good, but my pc wont be able to even open it XD. 2024 is gonna be fun

Guys, help me find a game, I recently remember watching a trailer for a game, I was in the desert, the character had a car and we fought with robots, this is some kind of futurism because the car was flying, maybe someone will remember about this game, I looked all over and didn’t I can find ( The game is also similar to the fallout series of games, since there you also have to loot)

It's because the market is oversaturated with shite, most of the games are copy and paste like far cry, although the game played once is good it gets boring on the next one, in reality there will be maybe 10 or fifteen promising games that realese but maybe 5 of them will be half decent. I'm predicting these one to actually be good this year if they realese, I think ark 2, that dinosaur game looks great, the new transformers game, the souls game will go down well I think, helblade even though I don't like it that much. The starwas game that wasn't the rebels slash bounty hunter one. Maybe 2 or 3 more but I can garentee the top 20 games coming out at least half will be disappointing. But the lest complicated games are always the best solid story line first then engaging combat or mechanics after that graphics then side content comes last. If the story sucks the whole game will. It has to be engaging from the the get go and hook you, if it ends badly then that's all you will think about after you finished it. It's has to have decent pacing and you could make a campaign 200 hrs in length and still have it engaging and fun all the way through if you get depth and character development right and don't build to much tension to early. I don't get how they make a 24 hour campaign so boring but included 20 menus and extra stuff to do on the side that doesn't effect the story, your character or allows you to learn something new about the world that you playing in. Personally I'd make side content reveal hints and clues about what might be coming in the next game and make them all like mini stories instead of challenges or side quests that are irrelevant. Gaming in 2023 was absolutely rubbish. The only game I enjoyed really was the star was game and dungeons 4.

Yeah that's all very true. Funny thing, the two games I liked from 2023 were just remakes of games I used to like. I bought RE4 and the remake of Deadspace and it kind of backs up what you said. There's just not a lot of new out there and i'm sure it's getting harder and harder for Devs to come up with something groundbreaking. And I think the big companies are probably afraid of losing money if they try innovating on game ideas and mechanics. So the gaming experience remains pretty stale.@@thebreifcaseman269
