The new formular looks less radiant and more dry?! Can you tell the difference? Than you!😊

Really trying to scrutinize them in swatches just now I would say the new ones are ever so slightly more matte/dry. The old shades also have more shimmer particle in them, it’s subtle but it’s definitely there. However, in the video I think what’s really exacerbating it is how dry my skin is. I’ll report back, but I believe with better skin prep on my part, they would look the same on the face as the old ones. I have super dry and dehydrated skin so if my skin is going through it, it’ll suck the moisture out of anything.

The liquids that came out recently or the kind of putty creams in pans? I have both so yes, I could do a video!

Good to know. I own burnt pepper in the powder formula so I’ll pass on power play version. Despite having it in my cart. Is it worth having both?

I think the really do apply differently. I can get the powder to apply fairly sheer and it builds really well, the Glow Play will always have a little more translucency to it because of the formula. The biggest difference between the two is that the powder is truly matte and the Glow Play isn't and will take on the finish of the foundation beneath (whereas the powder always mattifies what's beneath it). If you think that flexibility of finish will be useful to you, I could make a case for owning both.

What sort of brush do you recommend for applying the putty formula?

I prefer something fairly dense, with medium length synthetic bristles. My favorite (non-discontinued) brush is the BK Beauty 109 (go.shopmy.us/p-6187311). I have an old d/c e.l.f. brush I love, and I think their putty brush would work really well (go.shopmy.us/p-61874280). A brush that is too fluffy will have a harder time picking up the formula.
