I hope so too!!! This reminded me how much I loved Studio Fix for the coverage

The reformulation is wonderful! I work for MAC Cosmetics in Masonville Mall and I’m thrilled with this new formula. Thank you for the good review of the studio fix and also the serum foundation. Both are amazing. And yes… MAC is really upping their game! Just a little side note… please don’t forget the individual stand alone MAC stores. Yes, mighty Sephora has everything but it’s also available in the Bay and MAC stores. I love your channel, Cheryl! I value your recommendation so very much.

Absolutely hated the old formula but this new formula is everything ! I even wore at the gym & she doesn’t move 😂 even the shades are so much better .

I used to be nc27 in the old one. I thought the shade would be off so ended up buying nc37 and nc10 so I could mix when I have a tan and when I don't. Now I want nc27 😂 I'm here for the Mac revival! Such an iconic brand

This looks beautiful on you with both the first and second layer. I have used a ton of MAC over the decades but I have never tried a MAC foundation before so this makes me want to try this.

Yay! I'm so happy you love it. It looks beautiful on you! I wore Studio Fix for years but started trying other brands for fun. I always went back to MAC until Nars Light Reflecting foundation and Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow came out. I love this review!! You have now solved my dilemma of several days. NC27 sounds perfect for me! I could not figure out which shade to choose online. Back & forth I would go trying to decide. I used to wear NW20 but I no longer look good with cool tone shades. Risa (Risa Does Makeup) was very happy with this reformulation too! Approval from the two of you is all I need! Thank you! What do you have on your lips? It's beautiful too. My order was just now placed. Yay!! Cant wait to get it.

You doing a MAC video makes me happy! Like the good ol’days! I’m not a base girl but glad to see them back in the limelight. Need patisserie back😢 the classic cream colour base in hush is as good as my fancy Westman Atelier products. I’ve always had a small bottle of face and body but that would aggravate my skin after a few uses too🤷🏻‍♀️

I was the SAME color range back in the day too (NC35) and always felt it was semi off. I'm light to medium and always struggle with something being "slightly" too light or too olive-ish medium. Ordered this one, I'm so excited. I can't wait!

I'm medium skin and I use NC35 or sometimes NC37 Love U !!!

I LOVE this new formulation so much. Its so much better than the OG version. I also find it better than too faced BTW matte (RIP)

This is a great foundation I bought the NARS it’s long wearing but dries way too fast and more full coverage you have to get perfect match but this melts in the skin and u can find up to 2 shade match with Mac I tried nc44 and nc45 both were great

Never tried this foundation … yet .. so I have lots of foundations now.. but do I need a new one? Prob not but do I want to try this one .. umm ya .. looks amazing on you so .. where did you pick it up? On website? Sephora, Mac store( we have one here down in Windsor) or ..

Oh I want to try this so badly! As a 43yo, this foundation is bringing back some serious memories. Do you think it works well for dry skin? Unfortunately, while I have dry skin, I don’t love how many of the super dewy and radiant foundations look on my texture and fine lines anymore. Something a bit more satin or matte is usually just a bit more forgiving, if my dry skin can get away with it. Thanks so much!!

So you are the same nc27 in both serum and new studio fix foundation? I feel we are similar shades. And how do you feel both these options are for mature normal/combo skin. Thanks 🙏🏼🇨🇦

I noticed the shade is a bit darker on serum powered foundation as well, NC30 feels like NC42, so probably I will go with NC25 on that one when I finish it. for now I am mixing it with shade adjusters.

I was hoping for a bit more of a comparison to the Serum Powered foundation! Besides the shades. Thoughts? Face & Body is a top fav of mine for everyday skin tint, so I'm curious about these other 2 as well.

I have a dedicated on the serum. Two totally different foundations. Truly opposite for me. Different finish, different coverage.

Wait a minute, did the shades change? Pleeeease, somebody tell me

I think im alone when i say im not a fan of the new formula. I havent used the old formula in probably 10 years but from what i remember it was long lasting, matte & full coverage. This new one is far from full coverage, is definitely not matte and doesnt wear well on me, it also transfers pretty badly. Ive only worn it for 4 days so far and will keep trying it with different primers/powders but so far im not impressed. It actually really really reminds me of the old face & body.

I looked at this foundation at Ulta today and everything in my shade range was too orange. I need a tan olive shade, because I am not a tan orange person. 😂 I may look again at my local Mac counter, but I’m not hopeful.

For me it’s lighter and more skinlike. Estée Lauder is more full coverage for initial application.

The coverage is not there, for the price of foundation I just want more. Thanks for the review.

It’s buildable to full. Fully covered my freckles and discolouration on my cheek after two layers. It’s not full coverage right away if that’s what you’re looking for (e.g., Huda Beauty)

Does it still have the same chemical smell as before?

The lower cover was something I can accept on the new formula, but the longevity of the this new version is so crap compared to the original, I'm so disappointed.
