CONCLUSION
This is a solid device, but for the price? Some people do not want a black band.
Works well with Android or iOS, despite now being owned by Google. Touchscreen is alright but a bit small. I wish they utilized the accelerometers more intelligently for controls. For this price, onboard GPS would be welcomed. Unfortunately, it appears, Fitbit wants you to pay to get all the analytics available from your device.

I specifically stick to Fitbit because of the screen size. I don't want a mini smartphone on my wrist, I want a digital watch that has a modern/futuristic look. Absolutely everyone that I know has a big apple watch or something similar, they're everywhere, yet I always get looks and compliments on my fitbit specially since I have the stainless steel mesh bracelet paired with it. I love the small vertically rectangular form factor, and the monochromatic display, to me, just gives it this awesome retro-futuristic look. If only fitbit would give you a green monochromatic option it would absolutely make it perfect for me. The less is better approach works great for me with fitbit, except for battery life.

Does the stainless steal bracelet stick to other metals when you’re near them? I was gonna buy one, but read reviews on Amazon that it sticks to anything metal and completely comes off your wrist😳 I was really wanting it, but if it does what they say then I don’t want it lol

I wanted a small, nice looking, step counting Fitbit and found it in this nice watch. I’ve had other Fitbit’s over the last 7 years and have liked them all. Now I was ready for a small, great looking, accurate, step-counter, heart rate monitor. This is just perfect and I’m so happy they’ve come out with this smaller, cute device. It also tracks other measurements, but I don’t want to pay a monthly fee. I’m happy for the free info.

thank you for this review. I totally agree. The fact, that fitbit keeps up the premium membership is honestly the only thing I don't like about fitbit. The app is great AND the fact, that it tracks the most important things ANS is so small makes it a very good tracker for women. It's true. With small wrists other trackers look like you've a solid retro alarm clock on your wrists, so I guess this is the target group...

I love my Luxe! I wanted something slim and lightweight, and this looks like a bracelet more than a smart watch with lots of different bands to choose from that are easy to change and I can wear with any outfit. It keeps track of everything I'm really interested in - steps, heart rate, and sleep patterns plus much more! I've tried others, but this is the BEST one I've found for me so far - this one is a KEEPER!

I feel like this band is pricy but slimmer than the normal trackers that's why I'm buying this the catch 22 is the shipping I've been waiting a couple of months to receive this tracker because of the material used to make this even when I preordered it. It's initially cheap considering the price of other smartwatches, but really it's not $150 if you actually want a "smart" watch. It could be a little more than $150 or a lot more depending on how long you keep the subscription. I stay away from companies that hold hostage features of a product you already bought. And I wouldn't ever get a watch without GPS because it's so common in smart watches to me it does make sense to get a "smart" watch without GPS especially for $150+ price tag.

It was a beautiful watch but I returned mine after a month. I learned that the problem I had of it not turning back on when I put it on the charger was a common one (per my deep dive in reviews and forums). The little button on the charger did not work to reset it. It basically stayed off for a few hours to up to 4 days. I was very sad to return because it really is beautiful. I do wish it had a slim button to turn on/off/sleep ON the watch side. Why didn’t I just exchange it? Again, my deep dive showed it was a common and recurring problem. I’m not going to fight with my watch. I just need it to work.

Fitbit premium is actually useless. Almost everything you need is free. Heart rate, workouts, calories burned, food tracking, sleep tracking including stages, steps, stairs, distance. I use it without premium and the app is pretty full featured. I tried the premium and honestly didn’t use any of the additional stuff and don’t miss anything. They give you workout videos and some mindfulness stuff, and some additional health metrics that I don’t care about. It does the basics really well, however I do notice my fitbit (charge 4) has some trouble with tracking heart rates accurately at high heart rates > 170. Otherwise it works pretty well. If you are an athlete who needs high accuracy I would suggest Garmins, or apple watch if you don’t mind charging everyday.

I've never used a fitness watch so if anyone could please help me with this😅.Comparing with the mi band 6, is the fitness tracking the same? As in mi band is alot cheaper but is it as good in terms of calories tracking?

The Mi Band is very good. Fitbits have best sleep tracking and very good complete fitness app, but if you only need to track steps/calories burned from those steps, Mi Band is probably the best dollar per dollar fitness tracker.

@@sirtipsalot7320 true but it’s very inaccurate. I used to have a Fitbit versa and it broke so now I own a mi band 6. It always undercounts my steps significantly and doesn’t have 24/7 heart rate tracking. Sleep tracking is horrible too. If these things don’t matter to you got for it :/

@@scsstopmotions989 I have both the Mi Band 6 and Fitbit Inspire 2, and the Mi Band so far counts steps way more accurately. So far Inspire 2 will count hundreds of steps while I sleep (trying all sorts of things to get it better). I do however always have my phone with me and bluetooth on, so the Mi Band is often using the phone's GPS. That said, the Inspire 2 has amazing sleep tracking, the Mi Band gets my time in bed right but not sleep, so it's often 30-60 minutes more sleep than the Fitbit. Mi Band also as a piece of hardware is much nicer than the Inspire 2, it has larger colored screen, better UI, more features, better battery life, etc... however I really like the Fitbit app/ecosystem and sleep tracking. Very torn. I may have to check out the Charge 5 when it comes out, as it will have the best balance of features/battery life/accuracy. But I really think something is off with the Inspire 2's step counting, it shouldn't be this off.

@@sirtipsalot7320 This wouldn’t be a problem for me since I don’t wear my tracker to bed. I take it off before my shower and don’t put it back on until next morning. (I think it’s uncomfortable to sleep with a watch). I still do think the mi band undercounts my steps during they day compared to the previous Fitbits I’ve owned.

@@scsstopmotions989 I am working on possible Fitbit step fixes, I think I may have found one, you have to reset the clock interface via the app (change the clock), so far it seems to stop picking up steps by say picking up a glass of water, which is awesome. This may of course not be needed as the Fitbit Charge 5 comes out this month, and I may be ok with losing a few days of battery life to get superior everything else. It looks like their best non smart watch fitness tracker.

Good review, but this is literally a waste of money for $150, plus the subscription prices... Zero innovation, just a price hike. There are already devices that do the same thing for less than $60

@A R The people that buy this type of device are 9 times out of 10, somewhat fit. And want to calculate how much work they are putting in whether it by miles or doing workouts. A heart rate sensor is niceity, that happens to shorten the battery life of what you actually want to use the device for. I'm sure alot of people probably opt turn off the feature for that reason. But if someone, feels the need to spend an extra $90 for a heart rate monitor that "may or may not" be slightly better. That's their prerogative, but they should probably invest in a chest strap, if there actual goal is to monitor their heart rate more accurately

So, I bought this because it looked neat. While I like the simplicity of it, I didn't like that it didn't have a GPS in it. Well, now I know why, because they are selling a new one with it! I hate that they did this, only a couple month into this being released, really screwed us over. Not only that, but the mesh band is the worst. Literally sticks to everything, and I couldn't return it because it got scratched up pretty bad while at my desk, because it kept latching onto it. I would rate this about a 2.5/5. Not happy right now, especially since I just saw that the Charge 5 is the exact design, but with a GPS in it.

I get charging for a monthly service like netflix and spotify premium because theyre entertainment but when it comes to fitness if you pay for this you should get every feature they were able to afford putting inside. Just giving people excuses are its just dumb im general that you gotta pay if you want to pay attention to fitness and your health. It should be free to be healthy. (Ik you dont need this to be fit im just trying to get my point across)

An overpriced fitness band that lacks features compared to the competition, then lets you pay a subscription fee to unlock everything. No GPS, no NFC, no smart functions at all and only suits women with its design. I guess if you want a fancy bracelet that can monitor your sleep, this is your go to.

Charge 4 is probably one of the better Fitbits. Charge 5 likely coming out this year. I do think Fitbits aren't the best value for what you get, but their app even non premium is incredibly good, and Fitbits track sleep the best, which I think is very important. I have a Mi Band 6, Wyze Band, 2013 Fitbit Flex, and was able to snatch up a $58 new Fitbit Inspire 2, so I'll be comparing all

A lot of people would be happy to pay double the price if they din't hold features ransom behind a subscription and had better quality control. Many people buy these with the expectation that they will last 1 year or less these days. If they weren't one of the only accurate sleep tracker watches on the market apart from apple watches a lot less people would buy these.
