Fitbit Luxe Unboxing: The most fashionable fitness tracker yet?

Ғылым және технология

Google-owned Fitbit has gone to market again, this time with a new fitness tracker that seems ready to compete with... itself? At the same £129.99 price point as the Fitbit Charge 4, the Fitbit Luxe is definitely an odd addition to the company's line-up of wearables, but unlike the Charge 4, the Luxe has positioned itself as a fashion-first device. Does it have enough wow factor to make its case? Time to find out.

Is the manual wake up touch a little hard to do?

Obviously the software Fitbit uses is superior to that of Xiaomi. I wonder if the sensors are better as well. The problem however is, that those Mi bands are really good for the price, and they also look next-gen compared to the Fitbit. It's going to be a hard sell if new users will look at them next to each other.

Agreed. The Honor Watch ES for instance has a far superior screen and is even cheaper. If you are shopping around that £129 price point however then I'd argue that it's worth waiting and saving that bit extra to plump for something like the Coros Pace 2 or Fitbit Versa 3.

Xiaomi can be a really bad brand. I think it was their phone that has ads in it. Like literally you check your text message and you see an ad. That is absolutely terrible. They also sell weird products like a dumbbell set. It's not smart like connects to your phone and counts reps which would be awesome, no it's just a standard weights set.

The screen is just too small. Screen to bezel is too small. It's very expensive.

Video needs more structure, you need to figure out what you want to talk about before you start talking. Often sounded like you were a news journalist, 11:55 "I can imagine... that there are... far worse out there... than... this ", it doesn't sound good. Felt very ad-lib - when you were going through the options on the watch you were just reading what you saw. It would flow much better if you sat down and had a look through, and then let us know what functions it had. Would also appreciate a more top down view camera shot (or tbh, any other camera angle than just the 1) when showing the functionality of the watch, you twisting your arm towards the camera felt awkward. I think this would also help with the auto-focus, as the camera was trying to follow you. I appreciate I'm just some random guy on the internet, and you are fairly well established already with 240K subs, but this is my first exposure to you, and thought some constructive criticism could go a long way. EDIT: Doing a bit more research, it seems Chris from Tech Spurt used to work for Recombu. I think you could learn a lot from what Chris does with his channel.

Thank you for the feedback Benjamin. As you can imagine, with the process of filming from home there are still a few teething problems to endure so we ask that you bear with us as we try and smoothen things out.
