@@roys.1889 Sure, the Steel Legion in metal were sculpted my Michael and Alan Perry. The range is missing a few models, more sergeants, autocannon hvy wpn team, vox operators, ect. It's not likely to ever get completed. I should have clued in as I waited for Greatcoat guard in the 2004-06 timespan. FW was the only beacon left, but an expensive one.

I don't know if you noticed, but when you summon the Orcas in the Farsight Enclave, they have a timer on them. You have to pick a unit from them to build within the time limit or they leave and reset the counter before you can summon them again regardless if you picked anything or not. That can be an issue if you are in battle and get distracted after calling one.

Love the new farsight enclaves (melee battlesuits go hard ngl 🗣🗣🔥🔥💯💯), might become my new fave faction in unification ngl also gg on 10k

Volkov and Chitzkoi are the Soviet Commando Units from RA1 and RA2 Mental Omega ;)

Not sure if anyone else noticed, but Volkov's armor seems to have been partially-made using bits of Power Armor from the _Fallout_ video games.

Farsight Enclaves are cool. Basically a hero faction, no power generators, units dropped and tons of gue'vesa

The absolute upgrade the traitor guard get from their og mod is insane! I cannot wait to try them out

Loved all of these and I loved the Praetorian Guard cause me being the brit I am although I am kinda sad that the Praetorian Cavalry wasn't here cause seeing horses would have been awesome but still loved all these factions

Just go to their page and read! Basically, just download and run an EXE ;-) Then start a game with DoW Mod Manager

Mod looks great! But really this should have been a video series covering each faction in turn. Not only would you generate more viewership but it would also allow for a more comprehensive look at the factions and their abilities rather than a cursory look at what happened to take your fancy... A number of times I found myself feeling irritated at what was overlooked or the detail of examination given to somethings and not others.

We desperately need an unreal engine 5 next gen remake of this the DOW2 Codex mod is a step in the right direction, those maps are just too small for the scale.

This game is going to be 20 years old in September, and the engine is a couple years older. The Unification team has done as much as they can with the engine without compromising stability.

I can't belive how dumb farsight hats look

Quite disappointing to see Farsight still using the old XV8 instead of any of the later suits. The team could've hired someone to model them.

"Passion project" isn't an excuse for mediocrity, shill, plenty of those for other games do make their own assets and comissions. Besides, do you think the original modders who made the models used by Uni got paid? No, those were also passion projects. I guess a modern Farsight is too much to ask, better be content with the obligatory cringe Commander Waifu every faction seems to get.

Alright Im never gonna be able to play the Praetorian Guard because of that HQ song 😂 since I am not British, nor have I cared about the British as a country before, so I was actually introduced to that song through the Christchurch Mosque massacre, you know the dude that livestreamed it played that song for almost a quarter of the shooting’s duration, which the live video itself was around 30 minutes.. soo yeah, idk it doesn’t just sit right with me, but it’s definitely just me, since again, I’m not British and I’ve never heard of that song before prior to the shooting.
