14:05 Hi, I bought the book and followed it, and everyday I am able to walk my two German shepherds every day off leash in my 20 acre field. It is truly therapy for them. If this 70 year old grandma can do it, you can too! Thank you Larry for all you do.

I started using the e collar on the recommendation of a local trainer. She told me about your videos. It’s been nothing short of miraculous. But the interesting thing is. It’s also helped me get my own emotions under control. So much of what Larry says makes sense when he talks about how do you expect your dog to listen and respond when you’re outside the house if inside the house it’s all loosey goosey and no boundaries and whatever. I thought. Well. If I have to get my dog to be less reactive then I NEED to be less reactive. I need to not let my emotions run me around. So we set firm boundaries in the house. And I do it, not because I’m being cruel but because she’s a dog and needs healthy boundaries. So then when I’m outside the house I’m more aware of what’s going on around us on a walk but I have learned to be cool and calm and so she can be too! I put my shoulders back and walk in a controlled manner and I am not uptight and so my dog takes my cues and it helps her to be calm. Thanks Larry! Maybe you could be a part time psychiatrist too. lol.

I learned use of the collar with my rotties back in the 90's. (Before social media. lol). I was fortunate to have a good trainer. Got to Schutzand I. Now re entering dog training with e collar. Some comes naturally and appreciate your training Larry. Got your book and now your video. Don't downplay the basics. They work 😊

I just watched the entire video, twice. Here is my review: I'm mixed on how I feel about this offering. First of all, Larry is the perfect spokesman for e-collar dog training. He's well-spoken and matter of fact in his delivery. Moreover, he is clearly compassionate, and light handed with his training. Even better than that is he's effective and proven. I'm a huge fan and his approach has made me rethink how I handle my own dog. Second, lets cover what this video is NOT, it is not an obedience training program. If you're looking for sit, stay, come, down, heel, finish, etc. this is not the video you're looking for. If you're looking for detailed behavior modification this is also NOT the video you're looking for. If you're looking for the appropriate introduction to e-collar and its use for recall, place and focus then this video IS the one you want to watch. If you are brand new to any type of e-collar training whatsoever than you should watch this video. The dog Larry uses seems to be very neutral in his behavior and overall demeanor. And this is where I feel that the video really misses out on a huge opportunity. The vast majority of dog owners who are going to be considering an e-collar are people with dogs that are easily distracted, leash pullers and reactive. I live in a big city and see a lot of dogs. Frankly speaking most dogs these days seem to fall into this category. I really wish Larry would have used a dog who was hyper, distracted and reactive to the distractions. (I don't even recall Loki barking once in this whole video.) IMO this would have been far more helpful for more people, and it would still have served the other purpose of shutting down the anti e-collar crowd as Larry is so even tempered and light handed with his approach to the tool. I'm going to watch it a few more times and maybe my opinion will change. I could even have missed a few things as its still new in my head. If you're an average dog owner who wants to provide some off-leash freedom to your dog in controlled environments and want the power that the e-collar provides I highly recommend this video. If you're looking for more on dealing with behavioral issues and using the e-collar as a tool to do so, you're probably going to be left wanting. In fairness, he does address some of these issues a bit but there's no live examples to draw from. For $80 I really don't think you can go wrong, and I do recommend it but with the caveats listed above.

Thank you for your review! I got the leash reactivity course by Stephanie Vichinsky and was looking at this e collar one but was not sure about getting it. Now I think I might. They have a sale 30% off all training videos. So for $55 they are definitely worth it.

That's a fair review. 👍The main thing I struggled with is that it seemed like there was meant to be a sound box playing a tone in the moments the e-collar was being used, but that sound didn't carry through to the recorded video as far as I can tell. So although Larry does a great job of explaining everything, and you can see when Loki responds to him during their sessions, it's less instructive than it could be due to missing out on exactly when the e-collar was applied.

Larry , and mrs Larry, I have used ecollar to train my terrier recall. The recall is pretty good to be fair and she gets lots of off lead freedom to be a dog. She has a nemesis though. She loves people and will blow me off for people. Do you think I should retain her?

Hi Larry, I feel terrible asking this because I know if I spent the time to look around I could find it on my own but I need direction to which video gives the basic concepts of e-caller training for a dog that has none but is already trained in the basics/fully trustworthy off leash. I'm really really bad at using social media, the internet etc. I have an allergy to my phone.

Super excited about this course I’ve worked with dogs forever but never done any e collar work always been reluctant or didn’t care for the approach watched the video with you abd d- o-g aka your daughter and really liked your approach I have a dogtra ( easily 300 at the time when I purchased it) a very old model that I always had issues with it was hit and miss with when it worked and didn’t so it was inconsistent, and therefore, I just stopped with the interest of using it because like my current dog, my old dog had a solid recall. My dog now has a good recall so I’m just using the collar for the occasional distraction bunny cat etc. If you had someone that came to you and said they couldn’t afford a $200 E collar ( I know that sounds so bad you have a dog and you can’t afford a $200 e- collar I mean, technically I can budget for it, but I’d like to get started sooner versus later) what would you recommend? I’m disabled on limited income - I don’t want a pile of shit but with a dog that’s already got a pretty solid recall , I’m not sure I need all the bells and whistles If you don’t want to answer here, you can always email me just comment and I will shoot you my email Thanks

@@carishields7834 No, what happened is that my first post got removed. I had given the name of the collar and linked to one on Amazon. I've had mine a couple of years now and it works fine. It costs 30 to 40 dollars now - I paid I think $49 canadian and you can get it with 2 collars one controller for that price now. It has a range longer than I would ever need.

@@carishields7834 this looks exactly like the one I got. It's called " Dog Shock Collar, Rechargeable Waterproof Dog Training Collar with Remote" Twenty bucks. I think it really depends on what you want to do...the people who have dog businesses want on that operates from a ring and they want multiples and they want the best or they want literally miles of range or whatever. Now, I would like one that operates from a ring, but that is the single and only reason I'd consider paying those hundreds of dollars.

On the order confirmation page there should be a button like 'access my video content'. If you click that then it takes you to a page where you either login or create an account. If you go ahead and create an account using the same email you purchased with, there is a 'sync purchases' button on the account page once you're logged in that should get your videos to turn up. I just did that myself and it worked alright and I can see Larry's course on my screen there. 👍

Everybody who wants a better life for their dog and wants to understand the e-collar and how to utilize it to better your dog's (and your) life... buy it. It's worth much more than $79. @larry Kali and I have been working since I got the content. Right now I'm slowing bringing the e-collar back into her lifestyle without even turning it on. When she was a pup (shes 2 now) I took her to a trainer who did EXACTLY what you say not to... Blast the dog when she has no idea what the hell the e-collar even is. So anywho, I'm just taking it slow and keeping it on her without using it -- yet. She was still scared of it in the past. We're putting in hard work now and she's loving life. We just got back from Target I wanted her to socialize with some people so we did a walk outside all the shops in the center. Went to a dog park yesterday (were there alone) and it was the first time she was without a leash (because the fencing and no other dogs. My goal is to get her off leash in 5-6 weeks but again, I'm just taking it slow and enjoying our time. EDIT: Per your content, I bought the 26' flexi... It's a great tool I like it quite a bit. Is there a brand of flat collar that you recommend? Also, I saw you had a long 50 foot line in your content, which one do you recommend there? THX!
