Maybe so. It's still not for everyone. No adjustable seat post makes it a no go for some. I mean sometimes you want to pedal and slow down life a bit and if you are a tall person that bike wouldn't work for you.

Love my Gemini! Bought it because it has almost everything I wanted in an ebike, carrying capacity, dual battery, 750w hill climber, hydraulic disc brakes, front suspension, grippy road slicks, wired front and rear lights, great design that gets attention. Still testing on rolling hills and it performs as it should. Perfect would be bigger capacity battery’s, dual 750w motors, larger disc brakes. Under 2k is a great value. Hope to see a Super Gemini in the future.

If your generating electricity off a motot/generator it creates resistance while doing it making it slightly harder to pedal. It wouldnt do much anyways as far as charging....you would get like a 6feet worth of movement from a long ride, if that.

I have the Gemini, and the back of my shoe hits the frame on the upstroke. (Near rear wheel) Getting some petal extenders to see if that fixes the problem. Other than that, bike has been great. (65+)

I am scratching my head why I cannot afford 2K at 70 years old. When we immigrated from Europe, always thought I'd make a good living, then sickness came my way. Oh Well, great job.

Stay healthy because I believe the future will be incredible, everyone is going to hit some hard times for a short while before things change and they will. some places are now giving discounts and going by peoples income to get them into electric bikes. what the problem is is that these bikes are made in china we need to make them here. A 899.00 ebike from china 20 Inch Fat Tire Electric Bike 48V 1500W with more power at 100 NM and nicer then these bikes in the video can be purchased cutting out the middle man. Its the shipping from china that cost. A tip as I worked with a naturopath DR what we have found out is after 40 men lose testosterone and it creates havoc the older we get and its not being looked into because they make money treating other systems and it all comes back to low test at least most of it . Get your test checked and get it to normal range and it will give you the strength to help fight sickness of all kinds. Hope you stay healthy and hang in there.

If people wanted longer range they would switch to mid drives. Throttle only I get about 60 miles range, and throttle plus pedal I get more than 150 on a 17.5ah battery. Plus your not limited on your wheel choices like hub motors.

@@cliveswabs9365 Lightning Phantom D (recumbent) with a bafang 750w mid drive motor kit. I an not a small person, and on flat ground and even up some hills I find I never need to use power settings higher than 2 with the mid drive. Use your gears to get the speed. I run a 9 speed 11-50 cassette.

depends, if most of your life is in the 25KM radius (~15 miles) then it can replace a small car => no gas, no expensive insurance, no auto-shop & no expensive parts... compared to a small, cheap & economical car you start saving money from the 1st month.

Not unless you can protect it and you can pedal it Incase the motor goes out. I have an electric bike now that you can pedal but the range could be better. But it's good for me. Most places are within 5 miles from my home location.

This misleading advertisement, 998WH is around 21 amp by 48Volts which I have a 10.4 amp by 48V battery ebike that gives an output of 20 miles for full throttle mode on fair flat roads... so 998WH charged batteries are not even close to outputting 55 miles on full throttle. And when ever a ebike company can make a 100 mile range full throttle ebike for less than $2000, I'll buy it... until then only custom made battery pack ebikes can get 100 mile ranges.

Sadly it would not be legal on UK roads, not without paying tax & insurance.
