dont believe a word they say, find a normal bike you like and fits you very well, buy a bafang 750watt mid drive for around the $1,200 mark with a 48-52 volt battery with 20ah, i have one installed on my bike and i am 155kg rider, with peddle assist on level 1 only and me doing about 90% of the work, i get over 200km to one charge and with peddle assist on level 9 i get 50kph !

I was taken aback by the price I thought it would be 5k with the trailer but for it to be 18k is crazy.

I personally like the range on the Everest bike .

For $17K I can hire a rickshaw to take me anywhere I want, and I live in USA.

Me too...IF it comes with $7.5K in tax credit (like other electric vehicles) and $9K in credit for parts/repairs. Replacement batteries will be costly.

It looks like a great bike. However, At that price ($17k); it defeats the purpose. You can get a decent dirt bike for only 6k with way more power than that.

Here they go pricing way out of working people's budget. A sensible person wouldn't dare pay that because it's all out foolish and embarrassing to throw that much money away on a e-bike. Crazy!!

At 17K it's impractical and it's also way too heavy. You could trick out a dirt bike with a 30 gallon tank for less than that and have plenty left over for fuel even at 6-8 bucks and gal.

I use inexpensive but decent Greenworks tool lithiums (36vdc, 5 amps) and a slide-on adapter from their 300watt AC module system to power my mid-drive bike. I can get approximately 10 miles each without going below ~25% charge level and light pedaling on hills. I haven't found a better cost-effective solution to distance riding. For $17000 I guess I could go about 2000-3000 miles: more than needed for nightly recharging.

Your Right ,This bike seems unrealistic . My ebike I built has 30000 mAh 350 watt rear motor and it moves me fine . All for the price of under 1000 $ . At 36 lbs . That 1700 watt motor is nothing but a battery killer .

@@PedroMartinez-nl1gr I built it . Find A bike , Learn to Size spokes. I bought the Motor on e bay And controller ,Display and PAS system and spoke cutting tool . You can build it yourself for under 1000$ . Ive built 4 bikes so far . ID go to CSC electric bike conversion kit 250/ 350W 500W 1000W 1500W rear wheel ebike kit because the connections are engineered to fit .

its still not true because soon as you start to go up hills or a whole mountain the motor starts to use up more of the battery ! and you would be left with a flat battery sooner, plus you would have to be doing about 98% of the peddling, even the pro's could not peddle up 8km at over 40% grade.

$17k? Get a motorcycle.

$0.00 commission. I post about things I find interesting. Lucky for me others find those things interesting too. Some bikes we have tested personally will receive a small commission. 1% of the thousands of bikes, campers, vehicles etc we featured in past videos. That's my best guess. If you care to elaborate... Why would only a "sucker" buy this bike? Based on what? No one will buy it if they can't afford it. Anyone can return it. 30-days on returns is usually standard.

So if the bike runs out of juice on say a mountain trail, how do you get the 93 lb. bike & trailer out? Simple: If you can afford the bike, you can afford a helicopter to get it out.
