New DampRid Moisture Absorber Activated Charcoal Review
Ғылым және технология
I’ve been using DampRid products for a few years and saw this new disposable/refillable model with charcoal and decided to try it out and compare how it works compared to the hangable bags.

*We liked it **Fastly.Cool** so much in the basement, we bought a second one for the main level. The amount of moisture it pulls out of the air is astonishing.*
Thanks for the review mate, it was helpful. I bought one of the container ones b/c it's refillable, we'll see how well it works in 3 months time.
it kinda makes sense that the bag collects more humidity as hot air rises. the bag is higher than the bucket so maybe try putting fresh ones a bucket and a bag in the same height maybe so you can have a fair comparison of both.
Love this stuff. I put this in my camper really works well. I didn’t really know of it seen this at Walmart in the camper RV section decided to buy it works really well so pleased I bought it
Love this stuff it really works I bought this for my RV and it does seem to draw out the moister. I also run a dehumidifier in my RV that seems to help. Hope you get a dehumidifier at your place seems like you spend a lot on DampRid
I have a few of these through out my house. They make scented ones. You can reuse the container when it's done. You can use calcium chloride, actuall charcoal briquettes or even the refillable damprid pellets. All work really well.
Tysm for this I was trying to do it I was confused
Thank you for sharing
I know this is old but I'm with you on the bag versus these or the big ones for rvs I've had both for about a month and nothing but the humidity reader says 70% in the house
Thanks 🙏
What color should the liquid that eventually collects be?
I think it depends on space as to how long it takes
Thought this was Dippin dots ice cream 🍨 at first lol
can you water your pot with collected water?
lol that steve1989mre reference
Will this help to prevent electronics from carroding?
Does it removes cigarette smell???
I think both ... alternate removing them every other month ....
Considering how slowly things like that extract water from the atmosphere I'm not sure it's making that much difference?

I prefer the bags since they hold more water but I've thought the same thing. They probably don't hurt to use, especially in a closet or small area but in the winter time I use a dehumidifier to significantly bring down the moisture and take condensation off the windows.
Hope this isn’t a stupid question. Can I flush the liquid into my septic tank?

I would think so. It is kind of a greasy liquid so i flush it down the toilet instead of pouring it down a sink drain. There will usually either be a slimy thick film at the bottom or some pieces of the absorption material left so I'd just leave those stuck at the bottom and throw it away.
Are dehumifers worth using and do they kill mold already in a room or do they just stop new mold appearing also is salt effective and ok to use in dehumifers that have crystals in the top of dehumifer when Crystal's have run out I have mold in my bedroom and I use dehumifers and I dont wanna have to keep buying more dehumifers

Salt works. Ever thought of filling the absorbing agent area of the collectors with silica gel sachets ¿?

I bought one at dollar tree. Its been in the bathroom for about 2 months. In about one week it trapped some moisture. It seems it stopped trapping moisture. The water level remains the same

What are they called in dollar tree and how big are they
I can't understand how this gets good reviews. 3 months to collect that much, when electric one could do in 30 mins probs
I don't know what is wrong with some of these they freeze up on the top and no water at the bottom

If that happens try removing the paper on the top of the container even though it says not to. Once the paper is gone it seems to collect water quicker and will saturate the material faster and start dripping.
