I’m single and have no children so I’m always in the lookout to follow someone I can relate in KZread and my own age, but Lauren its the only mom with children that I follow in KZread that’s not boring, or annoying or to mainstream. Maybe cause I’m European so all other American moms look the same even their houses or decorations 😂 so I’m glad I found your channel and I hope you don’t change the originality on your videos. Yes, I decorate our banister on the stairs with garlands. Love to see you decorate with all the beautiful fall colors! The harvest basket is gorgeous with the beautiful scarf. A runner or scarf would ground and pop with the pumpkin patch arrangement.

I love your decorations. If I were to add anything it would be to add a throw over the back of the couch by the front door. It would add some color and warmth as your walking into your home.

Living in SoCal, here is my wish: I would like the weather to be about 10-12 degrees cooler, a bit cloudy, with a cool breeze that promises a bit of an Autumnal chill when the sun sets. I'm in my kitchen, preparing to bake some fall-inspired quick bread (pumpkin?) and a rich, fragrant beef & vegetable stew is simmering in the dutch oven on the stove (recipe from Lauren Nicholsen, of course). The Meiomi Pinot Noir, waiting at the table, will do nicely when we sit down to feast! Not too much to ask on this first official day of Fall. 🍂🍁🍂

Underneath the console table you could do a grouping of three lanterns. Add a faux eucalyptus stem to the tallest lantern, along with a leaf pick. I think a bit of greenery in Fall displays add a lot. Battery operated candles in the lanterns for a cozy bit of lighting at night might add to the vibe. Everything looks stunning! 🍁🧡🍂

Love all the fall colors your using, looks and feels like fall for sure. I'm one of those who like the look and especially the feel of fall when decorating and yours very much does. I know some like to use muted colors but for me decorating for the holidays is not just about making your home pretty, but having that look and feel of that holiday not just pretty and yours has that feeling. I loved that you added those leaf branches to all your pumpkins on the table, that really added to it. Looking forward to seeing your Christmas decorating.

Under your table I would put large lanterns and fill them with pumpkins, flowers, pine cones or whatever you may find to compliment your space best. Also, putting some fall throw pillows there and/or a cute larger sign would also look beautiful. To take the lantern idea up a notch, add twinkle fairy lights. I love Balsam Hill, your so right the quality of their products is unmatched. Yes, you pay more up front but you will have those items for so long it will end up paying for itself. My sister also has 6 Christmas trees from Balsam Hill, I shared your coupon code with her lol. Everything looks absolutely beautiful, so warm, cozy, and inviting. I was just at home Depot the other day and had to stop myself from getting pumpkins just because I know they would rot before the actual fall season. This heat is still pretty bad😮‍💨 We grew some pumpkins but the deer ate them all, so next year hopefully we can grow our own and make it a tradition!🧡 Love your videos!

The sidetable with the pumpkins would look great with Vichy Karo pattern fabric, or Buffalo Karo, or Houngstooth pattern. Anything in black and white. Stripes may also work.

Love the stairs! It was my favorite part of the decorating.

If you have a couple of picnic baskets, stack them on top of each other and have leave coming out of them. Otherwise everything looks beautiful. Things are looking like they did in the Victorian.

I love everything! I do have an idea for under the table. What about a cute pair of rain boots with a few fall stems coming out of them next to your basket you already have below the table.

For below the pumpkin stack on your hall table, I would perhaps stack and side stack some wooden crates, like produce crates and then fill them partially with piles of autumn cookbooks or just books without the spines showing. ☺️

I think two things: 1. When we decorate every year, we start to become desensitized to the amount of stuff we put out. You don’t need to add anything more. It looks perfect now. 2. You went from a house that was smaller with a lot of character to a huge more modern home. They’re not going to feel the same when decorated. Obviously this is just my opinion, but what you’ve done is already “over the top” and if you add more you maybe crossing over into tacky…. You did a great job this year. Very nice!
